No...the 3DS is only doing good in japan and has swathes of ip's that appeal to kids or japanese market. Xbox does not have such IP's, nor a japan presence. Phones and tablets have taken over the handheld market, with kids playing phone games now. To enter the space and have any hope of success would require a momentous effort, which the Vita has shown it has failed at despite having some japan ip's come out for it.
That's the thing though, can they launch a good battlefield game out the gates anymore? BF3 was the last decently solid (performance wise) game on consoles they released, from what I heard hardlines was bad (in general) and BF4 launched broken at launch.
Also I can't help to think that the modern area warzone is getting a bit stale after BF3+4. I wonder if people would be hyped for something like 2142 after all the sci-fi hype the industry seems to be going through. ...
Mixed feelings, they say skilled players are having tougher times finding a match? As a person who goes 1st-3rd place most of the time I find that worrying. I'm all for better balancing teams but not if it means better players have to wait longer to join full games.
Biggest year coming for PS4 no doubt, there's no way their system sales decline, should still be outpacing Ps2 by the end of next year. Give me those juicy exclusives Sony and can't wait to play Dark Souls 3 as well, gonna need a second job to afford everything lol
I hope the secret reasoning why the TLG took so long to come out was that they decided to also make a VR variant. A VR Last Guardian interaction would be AMAZING, probably more so than the actual game is going to be.
In terms of variety and the sheer number of "off color" games they're releasing I'd say that is true. Throw in Gears 4 for the usual xbox crowd and you got a killer lineup. While Sony's games look amazing next year, I'd say xbox is putting up a hell of a fight to compete.
If NX isn't appealing next year it will get drowned by both Xbone and PS4 lineups.
True, but what VR has to offer is a whole lot more than 3D, so I guess you pay what you get? Also a lot of people seem to forget that these kinds of things must be made before they get cheaper, 3D TV's weren't exactly cheap when they first came out to a decently wide market(1500+ at minimum), same for 4k TV's. With VR you don't need an expensive TV like you did with 3D.
Yah aside Gears Recore honestly is the most interesting game/concept they've shown, surprised they haven't shown much at all of any footage. Hopefully GDC.
I expect to see a character named "Imanok" which will get beat up and verbally abused throughout the story, until eventually shot and killed with no remorse at the end. Would make everyone smile.
Fanboy's aside, perhaps they don't want it coming out only on a less powerful system? If PC is the most powerful, then PS4 is surely the next best option, not to mention has double the player base to xbox one. Make it more so that kojima's and his games have had much more impact and relations with Sony rather than xbox. Just an observation.
Or people just don't like Xbox one(sales show) or the games they have to offer (sales unfortunately showing hard as well...
The correct term for that would be just plain "Ps4 exclusive". You don't see sony or microsoft throwing Uncharted, "a ps4 console exclusive", or Halo, an xbox console exclusive, it's just: "exclusively on PS4".
When you throw in "console" before that, it becomes apparent that they mean console wise their referring to PS4, but it may come out on other non-console systems such as PC, or phone.

I just want Nintendo to WOW me, both console and games wise. Some current WiiU games look fun, but never WOW like how it was back when 64 came out and I got my hands on Mario and pokemon stadium, along with yoshi's story and golden eye. True, but if they want to benchmark their success against the Ps2 (which they have stated) they will need to not get too lazy/comfortable. If they're is more profit to be made then they should do all they can to do so. They have plenty of great games announced/shown for 2016, they just need to deliver.
Also while it may or may not impact them, NX is poising to come out next year which may steal some light/sales from Sony, so they should be ready to put up a fight and kee...
idk, have you seen real life girls? I know a lot that are over 18 but look very young, or have petite frames and are short giving them a "younger" look. Vice versa too, I knew girls in highschool who looked to be 23 or so. I'd say the other girls are more unrealistic then Marie, its hard to come by girls with bodies "that" good in bulk.
I'd say chair/couch play is the only way to go for now for VR. Let the tech and hardware advance a bit before doing anything drastic like standing up or bodily movement. Action or fast paced games where your moving fast in-game and looking around at the same time probably won't be made often as the likeliness for motion sickness is higher.

idk I've played lots on PC, some on mobile that did grab my attention for a couple hours, if not more (without paying money). Its hard, but it can be done. And probably the biggest game on the market is LoL and that's "F2p", same with something like Hearthstone.
Looks great. Gives me hope that one day someone will make a game/shooter piloting mechanized beast/dino's(ala zoids) instead of conventional robots or standard vehicles.
While I'm sold on the dino combat aspect I'd really like to see more about the story now.
True, I think the WiiU's battery life is pretty bad isn't it? And then there's overheating as my moto always gets semi-hot after maybe 30 min of gameplay. Imagine 4-6 hours straight which is something you would do on a console, let alone the streamers who stream for like 8-12 hours.
Not that it would blow up or cause internal problems per say but I imagine your hands would sweat much faster and often when using it compared to something like Xbone or PS4 controll...
While it is vgchartz, its surprising to see Blops 3 sell almost double on ps4 than xbone, wonder if this puts blops 3 on Ps4 total sales over xbones for NA as november npd showed xbox selling more.
