This is a perfect example of how family and kid centric games rule the market and are in fact, the casual market and relatively missing link currently. Majority of these people didn't buy WiiU's because of the console, they bought it because of the colorful and fun looking games that which most can be played with two people or at least be entertaining for people to couch watch.

It's why WiiU failed, it wasn't about fun with your family playing the games we lov...

What have we learned this gen? Touting graphics usually leads to disappointment. Hopefully they don't end up like the rest of the "graphics pr0n" games that released the last 2 years.

Regardless if they did, they're matching any competition cheek for cheek, which is why they're remaining heavily dominant. That one song's lyrics comes to mind "Anything you can do, I can do better~". Will be interesting to see how or if Sony reacts to the NX.

Feedback for BO3 has been nothing but positive actually, very solid game even if you hate cod's guts for some unknown salty reason. Perfect storm of balance and good plentiful content for hours (upon hours) of enjoyment, even if you don't like the multiplayer.

After BO3 I don't see how anyone can hate CoD but still rave about Battlefield/Dice when their past 3-4 games have been shit->decent.

I remember gamestop saying recently that they kept close contact with publishers/developers and that no recent big/AAA game has sold much more in digital then what they normally sell (15-20%).

I think for games such as Halo, Fallout, CoD, etc majority still buy physical (especially given bundles, which are counted), with the whole digital wave being for smaller or more niche games, which clearly aren't the juggernauts that usually release in Sept-November. Tomb Raider wa...

Baby steps bro, can't expect the thing to try to run at 60-90 fps and look remotely close to modern games graphically.

It's new tech, and under constraints of a power cap (unlike if it was PC where your wallet dictates the graphics you get, the Ps4's power can only do so much), please be more open minded. 10-12 years down the road I expect great things from VR, right now it's not even born to the masses yet.

Regardless if it did or did not outsell ps3, the title is clickbait. It never "dominated" anything, if what you say say is true, it barely scraped past ps3 even with a year start (and a much better image), and it never surpassed Wii, which ACTUALLY dominated that gen. In fact the Wii's missing dominance and utter shit sales of WiiU is why analyst/number cruncher's are crying console doom and gloom.

Your comparison of 84:83.8 just looks funny given the circum...

It's AMAZING! imo the best ARPG you can get, action is very fun and thrilling, and the game will be better now than at release since they released a bunch of network updates and made co-op/invasions smoother than before.

Not to mention the ton of weapons released in the dlc, which was a complaint back at launch with lack of weapons to use. Imo BB will be at it's pinnacle on Tuesday.

Next windows 10, then mobile phone companies, to household phones, if they haven't been tapped and are used to spy already, they will be soon.

Some would even say, all according to plan.

You say that now, but after next year I imagine things to quiet down again in 2017 (for Western releases, japan is just starting to spit stuff out). 3rd parties will always chug out content, Sony and xbox will only release so many key franchises within this gen.

At the latest I expect a 2019 release, and hope so at that. Non-system sellers will be cross gen, but I do not expect a halo 6 or the last of us 2 on Ps4/Xbone, least not exclusively (cross gen). Hopefully the rumors ...

Bloodborne is too "hardcore" of a game for a holiday bundle, Holidays usually point towards family centric buyers involving their kids.

Now Until Dawn or The Order should have been subbed in instead of GoW. Until Dawn has the winter theme going.

But when you have $50 season pass worth of dlc is that giving us the "full experience"? This situation seems like their excusing their massive dlc pass because they didn't include microtransactions.

Call ME old fashion but I like how you bought the game and got tons of content, without microtransactions NOR DLC, just waiting for that glorious sequel.

Was to be expected, gotta find some other alternate method of income when your game doesn't do high numbers, that's the sad reality. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool and knows nothing of the game industry.

If you don't like the change maybe not put so much faith into people out to make money that are basically involved in a business that constantly seeks to maximize profits.

I bet he's never tried something like that before. Simply blindfold yourself then move around the room and see how that goes for you, couches and cups/whatever are the least of your problems when you have kids or pets in your house, or pranking roommates.

Moving around has a lot more risk then the reward, especially for expensive hardware such as VR.

Yah, ALL I heard was "everyone's going to be playing fallout." or "what your not getting fallout? your crazy", mindless sheep to the corporations who run all over you just because they use a franchise you loved to erase your common sense on basic purchasing habits.

Do you buy a proven broken or supposedly faulty machine just because you like that brand? Fallout's a single player game, I think I can wait 2months+ until it's fixed or at the very...

It's basically last gen but switched, early on anyways. However unlike last gen Sony knows exclusives get people to buy your console (reason ps3 eventually caught up and even slightly surpassed 360) and next year is poised to keep Ps4 far ahead of xbone. Relying mainly on 3rd party early on was a brilliant move by them to give developers the time they need to make great games.

Microsoft just needs to keep up the punches though, since regardless of how it does comparativel...

Unfortunately the world seems to be enchanted by futuristic junk thus almost every big game coming out is sci-fi or futuristic and you can bet developers will cater. Halo 5, Blops3, Horizon, Destiny, Battlefront, Detroit, fallout 4, that one xbox exclusive with the girl and robots, no mans sky, etc etc. The era of sci-fi has returned.
