100% agree with you....Xbox Live just doesn't justify the premium anymore, and MS will probably allow free MP next gen and charge for other services, much like Sony.

I am of the opinion BASIC ONLINE PLAY should always be FREE..
But! ...PSN Online Play is only free because the price of entry to PS3 at launch was ridiculously expensive, and having to pay for PSN/MP (at the time) would have killed PS3.
Infact, I am pretty sure Sony would have charged for online MP from day 1 had the hardware been priced competitively...

Wii U is the 'Fisher Price' of video games consoles. It's already losing momentum, and will only make matters worse for Nintendo when the PS4/720 news heats up.
I'm afraid the Wii U is a dead duck in the water and will only cater to 'Nintendo Die hards'.
Sales aside (casuals don't support the games industry, the hardcore does), Nintendo has been irrelevant since N64.

Killzone 4, GT6, Uncharted 4.....these games are good...but I am hoping for some new IP's to compliment them.

Sony PS4 seems to be positioning itself as the 'PS2' of video games consoles next gen...
I think the hard slog PS3 initially had was a bitter pill for Sony to swallow and is a lesson learnt for Sony....I expect Sony to be the leader next gen.
However....Microsoft are yet to reveal anything regarding Xbox. Here's hoping the recent 360 1st party drought is down to MS getting its next gen act together.

They really know what their core fan base like (less of the Mii too's), preferring unique colourful 'fun' games to the grey/brown 'mass appeal' of a title like COD.

The GTA V delay doesn't bother me in the slightest...I have Last of Us & Beyond on PS3 and Gears of War Judgement & State of Decay on 360 to look forward to ;)
