I've played and finished both games, though I've failed to arrive at the same heralded conclusion that most have. I prefer the complexities of combat eg. Ninja Gaiden, Sekiro, or Devils May Cry so both games fall very short of MY personal standards. The graphical fidelity of Demon's Souls, Horizon, R&C, etc as they all give reason to own the top of the line gaming equipment. Fundamentally speaking, all is dismissable and subjective outside of irrefutable facts. The facts: I li...

Do you need me to be pissy, Starboars? Real world victories on the low side for you, huh? I don't respond sometimes because I realize that there are some people who need games to be great and I don't. I'll comment when I am willing to but I've got other options than to chase behind the comment history of randoms. Too much time on your hands, as idle minds often fail at life.

You guys throw around the word fanboy as though it has any meaning or is going to deviate an individual from speaking what they've observed. I own every system and I literally buy everything to play so when I don't like it, that's it. Which of you spend upward of 30K yearly on their gaming? I'm more than sure that you guys have to be fans of certain games because you're limited to only a few options?

The last great Zelda that was unique was Phantom Hour...

@CrimsonWing69

I agree wholeheartedly that Elden pulled it off way better and it does offer more footing to build on. Zelda should have definitely stayed Zelda too.

Both games lacked story, direction, or identity because they borrowed so heavily from other titles. BotW is too G rated to be the standard for anyone who enjoys adult themed subject matter. Elden came at a time where the industry was so thirsty that it blinded itself to all the glaring flaws and recycled resources present in Elden. GotY doesn't hold as much weight as it once did given that candidates can be rewarded on sales alone now. Just let this game be as great as it would like to be...

How is it a clone when Zelda's been cloning games since Twilight Princess? We need to stop pretending like Breath of the Wild is the standard.

Reading comprehension? Classrooms? I'm never here complaining about pricing or otherwise; perhaps change your curriculum and drop the class because complaining is a practice of dependants and losers. Winners meet the demands thrust upon them by their peers, colleagues, or the economy. A little something I learned along the way.🤷🏾‍♂️

Not a sheep or otherwise, just a company owner/business consultant who knows what it takes to do well out here. As stated above, you guys conveniently pick and choose which companies to demonize while supporting several that cater to your luxury.

"Loss Leaders" has never been proven to maintain sustainable growth; very temporary solution. Sam Walton was the best at it and we all see where his family is today. You can try to convince yourself that you're agains...

$600,000? You are aware that only equates to a little over 30k sales, right? That makes up a mere .0012% of the 25 million GP subscribers. If only 600,000 of the 25 million subs, 2.4%, purchased the game at 19.99 that'd have earned Big Cheese Studio $12 million dollars. Not sure if these numbers are impressive but imagine if only half of the GP subs actually purchased the game full retail. They'll make more money on the PS, Switch, and mobile platforms, as usual.

Yeah, like the ones most of the people in this community work for, right? How about you quit your job and get a job with a small business since you're so concerned about not supporting, protecting, or shilling for a billion dollar company. Be sure to get rid of your car, home, phone, medicine, etc too so that theres no danger of you becoming a hypocrite. The delusion is real.

Is it such a stretch that there are some of us who actually invest in other ventures outside o...

I purchased all of those games listed at full retail, which of us benefited the industry more? GP benefits your pockets, while paying full retail pays salaries.

Another FREEloader celebrating not actively contributing again. This is while those contributing are excited to pay to experience the best games available in the industry. Greatness comes at a cost not a bargain.🤷🏾‍♂️

Go on; let's see what trail of proof you have to backup your claims? Would it be like MS paying a premium to AMD so that their chip demands take priority?

Not sure what a more powerfully console is but history shows it's about the better games over more powerfully consoles.🤣 Perhaps enlighten us on what seedy practices Sony is using to make the graphical fidelity of Spiderman, GoW, Uncharted, GoT, Horizon, LoU, etc more prevalent on PS5 over XBSX. Oh wait.....

If your basic standards of living are being jeopardized by the need to entertain then that's where the root of the problem rests. Spending because you want to opposed when it harms nothing is a practice that threatens to place people below the poverty line. If you're already there costly entertainment should be the last thing on your mind. Knowing the difference is often the difference between responsible adults and children.

How is it monopolistic when there are like options in the same industry? Strange claim to be sure.

I am most likely amongst the few but I don't mind buying games at $70. I have both services but I often want to play the latest experiences over convenient ones.

Anticonsumer? You mean too expensive for you, right? There's nothing anticonsumer about charging what you want for your products. Either you can afford it or you can't. There's nothing simpleton about an individual that doesn't spend his time whinning because Big Bad Corporate America isn't being nice to his wallet. Next you'll be crying because you can't find your binky. Name one "proconsumer" corporation that actually has quality behind their products? ...

Sony, Nintendo, MS, Apple, Samsung, etc are all companies doing what it takes to win. That's what I'm saying. Is it convenient for everyone's pockets? No, and it shouldn't be. In what reality does any company steal your money? You have a choice to make money and spend it where you want. When's the last time a company sent goons to your door and forced you to buy what you couldn't afford? The stealing the people's money argument sounds more and more adolescent every...
