Why can't companies ever just move forward? Even if they charge full price you don't have to buy it, can wait for a sale, or play it on the old one.

Well you have this thing in Sony's community where their supporters are willing to pay for their games. 3rd parties make the most money on PS platforms and the least on XB platforms. This is decades old information.
Only children expect to receive for pennies or are cool with someone else paying their way. Simple; what pays developers more, GP or full retail? MS has to foot the bill because you're not adult enough to pay your own way. You get what you pay for, why even get upset if you didn't pay for the results you're hoping for?
