What I'm witnessing is an individual suffering from the effects of the "gold star for participation" era. Well I hate to inform you but there are scaled/graded performances on every level from school to jobs. Why should games be any different?

Making something easier just so everyone can be included is not the point of soul-born games. They are here to separate the casuals from the hardcore as the hardcore spend the most time and money on gaming. These compan...

Cool story bro, but I assure you that your spending habits are of no concern. While every person has their own taste, what stands out to me is the fact that you have 800 games but are complaining about what one serve offers over another.

I have well over 10k games but there is always an opportunity to discover and purchase more. Sony has one of the richest libraries acrossed several platforms so they don't need to offer more "appealing" games as they often ju...

There is another option; buy what you want to play instead of relying on a service to grant you access. All the games you mentioned are available for purchase. Sony is already granting a lot for only 120 yearly, that is equivalent to buying two games. Be grateful....

Awesome game, puts you in the mind of Colony Wars. Enjoy

Rumor is that Sony has both Square and CD Project in the bag to be revealed at a later date.

@DarXyde

#2 in neigh impossible given the heavy sections and investigations they place on foreign countries attempting buy a Japanese company. Sony knows this.

Imagine an acquisition taking place behind all of these "deals" and the picture will become much clearer.

I mean, there is Waiting 2 but it's without Ryan Reynolds and I hear that MS is auditioning for the sequel.

Orchard, what is considered a promising game to you seeing that you seem to disapprove of everything? Your taste has to be flawless....

One of my favorite games of all time. I really hope they can pull it off properly.

Well since you're the authority on properly managing a million dollar company, why don't you just call them to let them know of your divine wisdom?

Hardcore sim racers are the ones who are competing acrossed the globe, no company in their right mind would focus on a forever moving casual market. They have to focus on those dedicated to supporting their efforts. Notice how you're speaking from a perspective of self opposed to the collective. Perhaps they sold ou...

Need for Speed continues to sell so why would they get rid of what's producing what they need to maintain stability?

To be fair, it's not EAs fault it falls directly on the consumer. Everytime these companies choose to drop a series they're met with backlash though the gamers didn't support said series enough to justify its continuation. Attempting to paint every company as evil all because they're in it to succeed is ridiculous. They have to make money just like each of us typing in this section. If a job wasn't supporting you well you'd quit and find a new one, this is the same men...

You sir, have given mankind a resource so pivotal it could utterly turn the tables in our struggle for survival. You are a gentleman and a scholar. I could only imagine the accolades you must receive in your community. I wouldn't want you to sully your irrefutable reputation of excellence by spreading misinformation....GP is NOT, in fact, cheaper than PS+. Just a humble reminder, your highness.

Oh no, you mustn't attempt any expression of delight amongst "those without joy", they'll pinpoint the origin and kill it with extra prejudice. I too hate to love the inconvenience of the convenient upgrade system that Sony successfully failed at doing incorrectly.🤔

Make the math make sense....it's always those not buying anything claiming to be let down.

Has anyone considered the market that these games cater to? Young to adolescent, mostly, who often care little for reviews. All the childish comments eg. "you pay for shit, you get shit" don't matter to the kids with more optimistic outlooks towards their entertainment. Sorry little Timmy doesn't have such a refined pallet as you guys, but McDonalds is still enjoyable in his world. I mean, any person speaking down on the game is free to step up and show Sega how it should be...

Makes more sense for the announcement of the Sony purchase to come very soon. Plus, with FF14 doing so well it melds well with Sony's current forecast for the future. Only a matter of time.

A very high bar, for you, sir. This game stands on its own as a separate entity. It may very well surpass Portal, given the increased mainstream appeal of the videogame market. There are many that fall victim to their own delusion of believing that their taste is the apex of all things mighty.
