Yeah, buy its 3rd party so I'll forgive it.
As you should, it's mainly getting bad reviews because the mechanics are foreign enough to be challenging. Once you master the timing it becomes pretty fluid. Approach the combat as you would a boxing game.
Honestly, I'm having a really good time opposed to the reviews. The graphic engine and the sound stage it achieves on your surround sound is amazing. The combat is different but what I'd expect for a horror game. I find the dodge mechanic pretty fun, keeps you on your toes and forces you to actually watch the moves of the enemy more closely. Gives me a Fight Night Champion vibe(one of my all time favorites). Could it benefit from being a little tighter, yes, but definitely nothing to ...
I could care less about the people who choose to use the service as I only speak on the service and it's ultimate affect on the overall state of the industry. I am pro-corporation over consumer so my views are aligned with the companies that aim to profit. Most companies are not going to put their new releases on GP over their legacy titles in an effort to gain more buyers. If you take that personal, that's tough but changes nothing. I stand on what I stand on no matter who may refute...
Listen, my guy, GP is cool for those who it's cool to but there are others that won't pretend that it is some savior to an industry that's only ailing on the side of MS. Sony nor Nintendo are pushing this narrative because they're both producing sellers.
Concerning the development teams who keep taking advantage of GP, I mean, who wouldn't when there's no confidence that they'll make any money from the community directly? MS games sales trail on ...
Cult like? No that's how adults who flourish in the real world think, sir. Furthermore, I'm speaking from the perspective of which those like myself approach their gaming. If you're more me minded and think about your own pockets that's all well & fine. Please be aware that there are those of us that place the survival of the industry above ourselves because sacrifice is apart of longevity. This approach is not the most popular in our current ecosystem but it still exists....
Very simple business antidote: If you had a business would you be able to grow while only selling products at a discount or a reduced price? Full price allows for maximum margin potential. Very basic understanding of business. I gather you've never operated your own?🤷🏾♂️
Why would you have to read about the affects of low impact sales? Layoffs, downsizing, consolidations, etc all speak volumes to anyone paying attention.
Let's se...
I, in fact, do own a Series X but I own well over 10k games so there's little value in services for myself. Furthermore, I will always be an advocate of full retail as that's what fuels any industry most affectively. Sustainability can never be had with the convenience of the consumer in mind. We all get what we are willing to pay for, sometimes that means that there will be instances that we're not able to partake in. Everything is not accessible to everyone and that's why th...
Bruh, the look they give you once they find out your pay full price for games is hilariously entertaining. "Enjoy paying full price" they'll say and I'll walk away with a new experience while they'll continue trying to champion the importance of BC.
"You know, instead of being bothered to play new games on your next gen system you'd have a better time revisiting all the old games you played before this one on the new one." "Look at ...
That may be true but GP isn't the way; working harder and managing money more affectively is.
Dude, these GP subs are starting to sound like a cult. If you hear, "I'm just going to wait until it hit GP" you'll know you're amongst their ranks. Beware....
How is that salty? Name one game that GP has "saved" or given a chance? Perhaps GP has to focus on failed games because successful ones are too expensive for the service to support.
Says a person who doesn't work for or know their numbers....
It's funny because I'm sure you'd be pretty cheap too if met with economics challenges that affected the entire world. Better yet, most are cheap by necessity.
Exactly, when met with an entitled and delusional audience nothing will ever be good enough. All of them speak as though their approval is the apex of achievement. Their expertise is so pivitol that none of them ever bother achieving on a level to actually develop for the companies they're so quick to critique. I mean, it should be nothing for each naysayer to step up and show us all how it's done instead of whinning in a comment section. Imagine what a benefit Sony and all their deve...
Much like PC games; a cross gen game has features that are made available on higher end equipment not available on lesser equipment. All these people complaining about GoW, Horizon, etc like they aren’t visual marvels just sound ignorant as hell. Most people, statistically, don't even own the TVs or surround sound systems on a level to maximize rendering anyway. What's the issue?
Trapped?!?! You are aware that Colony War was developed by Psygnosis, who became Sony Worldwide Studios after Sony purchased them, right? Jet Moto, yet another developed by what was Sony Liverpool. I suffice it to say that these games are no more trapped than they are owned by Sony. Either purchase the platform they're on or mature enough to deal with it.
Yeah, because buy Bungie was for nothing....so short sighted.
Exactly!! If you don't believe what's being said, I dare you to explore the most successful ongoing games. It seems like people just want everything to stay the same with no progression. I may not play, Destiny, Fortnite, FF14, League, Genshin or the like but I can see the opportunity they add to the industry.
What everyone is failing to see is the potential in the Helgast Universe being built on top of a Destiny formula. Perhaps this is the reason why Bungie was such a pivitol addition to their stable of developers. We need to stop focusing on the idea of "live service" alone when there is validity in its implementation to cement sustainable profitability.
It's strange that no one's commenting on the positive reviews....
