Most disappointing trailer I've ever seen.
Hmm...
do we know if the PC version supports DX11 tessellation?
Otherwise it's not much of a "next-gen" game. Tessellation is one of the most significant rendering processes PS3/360 aren't capable of.
I mean since they said the PC version would get extra attention, DX11 features should definitely be included.
And it's not even Xbox Live. Its Games for Windows Live.
One isn't free, and the other is.
My god the stupidity. I'm reporting it, too.
tdrules, I completely agree. I loved the BF2 HUD and while I understand it was more PC-centric, even the Bad Company 1 HUD was pretty good. The bright LED colors of the MoH/BC2 HUD annoy me because they are too distracting.
How can you think this game looks like Kz3 at all?
What are you seeing that we aren't?
It does look amazing, I'm totally satisfied with the graphics they are rendering.
However as a BF2 (PC) veteran I am growing weary of the HUD. We had the same thing in BC2 and Medal of Honor. The saying is "don't fix what isn't broken", but I think the bright contrasting colors are very intrusive.
Anyone else have this minor complaint?
Why is this categorized for Xbox 360?
It is a PC exclusive.
Oh look. A hiphopgamer story. Who knew.
Anyway I think I read Santa Monica is moving onto something else for their next project. Which I like, because I felt like GoW3 was enough for a while.
Maybe we'll have a preview of their work at E3?
wait... there are RR fans in 2011?
Meanwhile we get: nothing.
Well, nothing special like this.
Oh well. Beggars can't be choosers, right?
this trailer is really old.
in fact its already in english elsewhere.
Oh god when you can't even crack a 5/5 from G4, there's a problem.
I'll pass on this one. Too many excellent games coming out this year, so I need to start making some cuts. I've still got huge hopes for inFamous 2.
how the HELL could the story POSSIBLY be any worse than Killzone 2's?
And yet Kz2 scored a 9.4?
Where is the consistency here?
I'm more compelled by NGP right now, so I'll pick one up ASAP. Might get a 3DS later someday.
@Blaine
yes Studio Ghibli had more involvement. There are also animated cutscenes throughout the game, and Ghibli produced those.
You mean 38/40 but yes this game is amazing.
Considering how their competition sells for $250, $300 would be nothing short of phenomenal. They'd be selling it at a huge loss too, like they did when PS3 launched in 2006.
This is true. Some of the better-known developers EA owns are
-BioWare (Mass Effect, Dragon Age)
-Visceral Games (Dead Space, Dante's Inferno)
-DICE (Battlefield, Mirror's Edge)
-Danger Close (Medal of Honor)
-Maxis (The Sims)
there's no way LA Noire is making it out with a "T" rating
have you seen the latest trailer?
Yeah, no way. Very mature themes and graphic imagery.
I think the extra achievements/trophies come from DLC expansions.
