They are obligated to criticize it for something. If there aren't any real flaws, you can always pull the "innovation" card and analyze it like that.

If you doubted it for a minute, you aren't Faithful.

Exactly my thoughts. The dialogue and acting is very good for the genre.

I agree, they have been putting out some rather poor product lately. Maybe they need to slow down. Majin just released less than 4 months ago and we already got another game from them. That shouldn't happen.

Could be worse. Much worse.
I'll preorder this and pick it up at launch.

Eric was shifted over to a VP role when Sony Network Entertainment was formed.

90% sure it won't be.

Turn your head toward LA Noire for a much more likely contender.

BLUE & ORANGE STRIKES AGAIN

They sold 200k copies of 3D Dot Game Heroes and 500k copies of Demon's Souls, both of which were PS3 exclusive.

I expect multiplatform Catherine could move at least 100k copies in North America. Which would be profitable for a publisher of Atlus USA's size.

"don't judge a book by its cover"

Ironically that's EXACTLY what they're encouraging consumers to do.

take heavy rain for example.

American sees game with original European cover:
"lol what is this stupid shit? Some gay origami figure in the fuckin rain lolol what a piece of kiddy crap, where's my space marines"

American sees game with edited American cover:
"holy shit ...

Heavy Rain also had a terrible North American cover, if that's what you mean.

The blue/orange (or red) thing was what I noticed first.

They had something great with the original wallpaper we received a few weeks ago. Why did they have to make it busier with some random woman on the left and a crime scene on the right?

Sometimes I don't know who to hate. The marketing people who assume this stuff won't sell unless the cover is full of floating heads? Or the general public who don't see anything wrong with this and keep buyin...

I don't even know why people are still talking about that. If it does happen, there's only one venue large enough for such a dramatic announcement, and that venue is E3.

If Microsoft/SE don't announce it going multiplat at this year's E3, it's not happening, period.

you mean Acquire? The people who made the previous three Way of the Samurai games?

yes.

Awesome. I hope Agetec picks this one up like they did with WotS3.

Only someone who lives and dies by Halo would even consider something like this.

I have a PS2 collection made entirely of niche games, and every day, if I go looking on the internet, I can always find MORE wonderfully creative games for PS2 that I never knew existed.

I can't say that about any current gen console. There is absolutely no comparison. Certainly not from Xbox 360.

exceedingly good platform, particularly in the portable realm

however, I believe PlayStation 2 may be more deserving of the title "greatest video game system".

5495d ago 3 agree3 disagreeView comment

You sure that wasn't included in the ToS before now?
