There are certain games where I don't mind if there is no demo available. Having played Demon's Souls, I'm fairly confident this successor will be worthwhile.

Kaz runs the show now, but the original $499/599 PS3 hardware spec was designed by Ken Kutaragi. I suppose after the runaway successes of PS1/PS2, nobody challenged his vision for PS3.
Kutaragi stepped down in 2007 and they've been recovering since then. The guy was out of touch with reality, and was a great source of ridiculous quotes.

But we already know the Japanese press can score very differently.
Just take a look at their Two Worlds II scores. 9,9,8 and 9.
Over here it's getting 6.0s from places like IGN, 7.0 from GameSpot, 3/5 from G4, and 5/10 from GamesRadar.
At least the good Famitsu scores means good domestic sales, and both of those mean a good chance that Catherine will be localized for us!
