Don't believe those rumors about 2012 until Sony says something.
At TGS last year, Ueda told us the game would release about 1 year later, which pegs it for this August/September/October.
Granted this list is opinionated... but I think it's in rather poor taste.
Mine would go more like this:
5. inFamous 2
4. Journey
3. Ni no Kuni
2. Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception
1. The Last Guardian
I pick those 5 because we can be more certain of incredible quality with them. I can easily see any of them as strong GOTY candidates (aside from how a PSN game like Journey would never be allowed to wi...
Whats this now? I was told iPad 2 had no increase in processing power over the original iPad.
So why has anything changed now?
As someone who professes to play mostly Western games, it would be nice if Ueda could look toward titles like Mass Effect or Demon's Souls and consider how they handle this: you can play as a female if you choose. At least from the trailers and screenshots we've seen, the boy's gender does not seem an essential piece of game design. This is my perspective. Ueda's may be different and I can respect that.
However, it's not like there's a ton of dialogue ...
It certainly will not be called "Wii 2" but I believe it is indeed forthcoming. Back in November, Reggie Fils-Aime said they wanted about to sell about 15m more Wii consoles before looking at the next generation.
As we all know, 15m Wii's don't take long to be sold. That would position a successor console not far off in the pipeline.
Looks like a shopping mall.
While I think the art style does need a makeover (something more time-withstanding; something stylized, because trying for lifelike graphics in Home is just too difficult), I don't like the approach this concept are gives.
That mall looks cold and sterile and distant. Home should be colorful and lively and intimate, to make people feel... at home.
"Catherine feels more like a port of an old-school arcade game than a modern AAA title"
I don't think Atlus EVER hyped it to the status of "AAA"
yeah. But these games are basically designed to emulate hollywood summer action flicks. So I expect this much.
Would be cool if every saga could have incredible villains like Metal Gear Solid, though.
Being owned by Sony, Naughty Dog doesn't have a choice. If Sony wants an Uncharted sequel, they make it. If Sony wants the game to support 3D, it will.
In theory the entire Uncharted cast should primarily be English, given Drake's professed roots. But as this is an American-made game, I suppose Naughty Dog were focused on locking down local appeal first.
So of course the villains get to be English because there's no concern about the player needing to like them.
Unfortunate situation but I suspect this is true.
Also read on the source that this would likely romanize to "Meryl". So we may be calling it "Atelier Meryl" when NISA eventually localizes it.
LA Noire is basically finished at this point. The game will have gone gold within the next 30 days. Also it wasn't even developed by a Rockstar studio; Rockstar only publishes it.
Max Payne 3 is being made by R* Vancouver.
Agent is being made by R* North, the people who make the major GTA games.
So really there's only one game that is a "priority", and that's assuming R* North is behind this.
-RoRoNa
-ToToRi
-MeRuRu
hah, well it fits the pattern.
Agent is no myth, but if we do find that Rockstar North is behind this, as they have been with all of the main GTA entries, we may find that "Agent" was only a codename for GTA5.
But some things still aren't in place; Sony's earliest announcement of the Agent IP declared that Sony would own that IP; meaning titles derived from it could only be on PlayStation platforms.
So really we have 3 possible situations:
1. Agent is GTA...
Not a lot of women in GTA5, if this cast leak is legit.
And none of them are under 40 years of age.
We've had two or three of these teases from Microsoft recently.
They were all massive letdowns.
Anything making this different?
The girl looks deathly ill.
2/3rds of it came from Europe.
Europe freakin' loves GT.
GT3 only sold so much more in North America because SCEA decided to bundle it with PS2 hardware.
I don't mind it.
Actually, the Sony Computer Entertainment logo looks equally 90s, too.
Same here, the person who compiled this list overlooked some of the real stunners... I mean incredible games that you just don't see very often. Like Journey, or The Last Guardian.
