I don't think Nvidia will lose too much ground by introducing new cards a few months later. The things that will determine what card people buy next is which card is more powerful and cheaper than the competitor. I know Nvidia cards are always more expensive but if this "new architecture" makes a big difference in performance, I wouldn't mind paying more.

No ur not the only one, i too love upgrading stuff on mine. With custom built PCs one gets more attached to it i think, instead of easily chucking ur 360 for a new one as soon as it rrods. There is just so much value from making a good rig that a console could never come close to touching.
eh, the only control scheme other then a controller what i would have the slightest hint of interest in is Sony's motion controller... which is by no means good for Sony since i honestly don't see myself going out to buy one when its available.

I pre-ordered my copy for pc 2 days ago. After watchin a few gameplay videos im lovin the graphics... and Dice said that the demo is technically an alpha build, not beta which leaves more room for improvement :D
If for some reason all developers stopped making games for pc, my prediction is that most of those pirates would simply mod their 360's and pirate the heck outta of it more than it already is. whats your solution then? stop developing for 360? Sh** would really hit the fan then.
Well I just think its all very ironic considering that the Infinity Ward team worked on Medal of Honor exclusively for the PC until they left EA... so if it wasn't for the PC community, Infinity Ward probably wouldn't exist today.

I admit I was so pumped to buy MW2 on PC and i was even willing to look past the price hike at first... But after all this recent news of no dedicated servers, no lean, and now only 9v9, etc, i simply cant support these people no matter how much i liked COD4. DICE also has a great looking game on their hands and are delivering everything the PC community wants. This is why I'm only getting BFBC2 and not both.
That tessellation in DX11 sure makes a big difference in my opinion. If im not mistaken, tessellation in DX11 renders a lot more detail without a huge hit on performance. The only difference i could see between DX9 and 10 was the grass textures lol.
i mainly use Chrome. I just like how fast it is.
The fact that people are doubting whether or not a new engine was used,shows that the graphical "leap" was not so significant.
