Bethesda's development team have already got their hands full polishing a turd called Rogue Warrior.
Although thankfully the bulk of the team is in fact working on Elder Scrolls V which should debut at E3 this year for a 2010 release.

This looks like a sexed up version of Total Overdose... definetly on my "under the radar" radar. ;)
Yeah I hate Rico... that just annoyed the hell out of me, when the game would be just as good if not better with more selctive use.
As for 50cent... Well it's to be expected, but seriously keep your kids away from that one!
Man you should play MadWorld if you like constant inane swearing.
That thing delivers! lol
My sources have Alan Wake slated for the financial period of October 09 - March 10 along with at least two other Microsoft exclusives yet to be announced.
Divide that and we're looking at December 2009/January 2010. ;)
Microsoft saves money on funding all the expensive infrastructure of an internal developer only producing 1 game per 5 years, Ensemble gets the creative freedom to explore new genres by splitting into three new studios, and Microsoft retains publishing rights with all of them.
That's a pretty damn smart deal to me! lol
They just turned one studio into three and outsourced all the costs while retaining the publishing rights (ie. exclusivity). Just like they did with B...
Nice tag! lol
And yeah I agree, what Bioware has done for dialogue gameplay mechanics still amazes me.
"It's the GAME that makes a game, not the platform."
I think that's wrong on so many levels (explain Wii motion games, PC strategy titles, PS3's Flower etc) but most of all its wrong because it should read:
"It's the developers that make a game, it's the publishing contracts that determine the platform(s)."
Mass Effect going to PS3 has nothing to do with the game itself... it has everything to do with publishing contracts and whether ...
So is that two GOY for you in a row? Because I love what Alan Wake is doing but seriously ME2 has gotta be the front runner of any year it launches... Not to hype it or anything though! lol
That had WTF written all over it that I'm sure if I slowed the trailer down enough I'd find Infinity Ward put that in there to! lol
Oh man a cookie monster zombie would be hilarious and terrifying all at once. Talk about f*ckin with my sweet childhood memories! lol
I can just imagine the sound he makes when you can't see him and as he approaches...
"Mmmmmm cookies, yum, yum, yum, yum... ahhh brain cookies yum yum yum yum yum..."
Will scare the crap out me!
Haha! Cool article... really dug an explanation I can use for the continous onslaught coming in this year's releases... and next year's (Dead Rising 2!). :D
I'm in, if only to thank THQ for bringing Capcom's masterpiece to Aussie shores after the original distributor went bust!
Jesus that's expensive.
I'll still be playing it five years from now...
The greatest irony about you comment is that the only person who abandoned anything was Sakaguchi and his Final Fantasy creating cohorts who left Square Enix to form the Microsoft backed Mistwalker. Thats FACT!
But here's an OPINION...
Lost Odyssey is the best "closet Final Fantasy" since FFXII. And their (expected) superior sequels Lost Odyssey 2 and FFXIII will only both be on a Microsoft console.
So put that in your pipe and smoke it! lol ;...
It would've been ice if they averaged their scores. the Oz guy may have given it 8.2 but the other guy gave it 7.5. WTF?
Bobble Bobble coming to XBLA was worthy of its own conference! lol
But seriously can't wait to relive my past... Assuming I get over the lack of a Mistwalker announcement. :(
Nice to see you guys still round. I gave you bubbles of nostalgia. ;)
I still check out the site but these days I'm actually too busy doing other stuff to spend my time commenting with the largely zombie hordes of N4G.
Gamasutra is an excellent site and their round up really highlights the state of the industry each month.
Sony is in serious trouble, 5 months of declining sales does not bode well in any industry.
Nintendo is seeing the Wii...
Maybe this new N4G filter should implement a minimum word limit, or maybe admin/users should adhere to the already established guidelines! lol
