I'd rather ambition than tradition! lol
Refining of ideas is what sequels are for. Mirrors Edge 2 should hold a lot of promise.
Yeah thanks for posting this. Sounds interesting and reasonably unique.
I've always found Magic geeky as all hell. But the XBLA title allowed me to play and learn it in the privacy and comfort of my own home. I love how you can add a mentor off Xbox Live to teach you too.
On another note I had a strange desire for Culdecept Saga after replaying the demo constantly. But there's no damn PAL version! Grrrrrr....
I went back to Valve's private room three times at E3 to play it. It was that good! :D
Can't wait and backwards compatability with the original would be awesome.
But seriously what the F are they thinking releasing it a couple of days after Modern Warfare 2?!
Looks like some twisted fun! lol
I'm so going to get my younger cousins to play this. Will give them nightmares for years! hahaha
Yeah looks good. But I'm really hanging for the Wii version actually.
So by your logic... Forum posters shouldn't tell game sites and journalists what they can and can't do. lol
OXCGN can cover what it likes and in fact I often prefer their coverage of the PS3 to many PS3 only sites that think Sony's the only one with good games. At least OXCGN knows a good game when it sees it. ;)
That picture is much better... and cooler! Heck anything's better than clipart. hehe
Prototype: 27
Infamous: 26
Red Faction: 23
Great article OXCGN, but just be wary that the trolls are a hunting and don't have the brain matter for understanding what you're writing, let alone why the totals above are irrelevant. ;)
8.5 I could swallow given the leanings of the reviewer but 9.5 really indicates a level of quality that's only really earnt by the best of the best.
Bionic Commando is not... Bionic Commando on XBLA on the other hand... ;)
I agree on rising costs and the strain it provides on development teams but I disagree about their effectiveness and demos supposedly getting worse.
A demo is and should be part of any developer's marketing toolkit where it suits. RPG's and entrenched franchises (COD, GTA, GH) are perhaps the exceptions to the rule.
Bioshock's commercial success was off the back of an incredible demo.
I'd argue recent releases of Red Faction and UFC have created bu...
Love BC: Rearmed and then they didn't even give gamers a chance to try the single player of this game.
Capcom's first commercial flop this gen.
I also played it at E3... but on three seperate occassions it was that good! lol
All this controversy is BS. The game is fantastic and ten minutes into my first play all I wanted was a copy to buy and bring home.
Very cool that the photo on the site shows Molyneux checking out other developers like Valve.
Okay I get that this game is an acquired taste but 9.5! lol
I guess OXCGN is true to their word of having a wide spread of views and opinions. Either that or someone's got a hard on for swinging with Capcom! lol
Bubbles mate.
That response after Oz's comments shows a lot of respect and intelligence on your part. Not used to that on N4G. Count me impressed. :)
And Kaim, yeah I'm sure they did these articles for E3. They definitely pay their respects to the PS3, MGS4 for their GoTY last year was a highlight! :D
Haha, a tall man with small hands! lol
Apparently you didn't get size where it counts! lol
Just kidding. ;)
But seriously if Godem aint hurting now, he might be in a lil while as those bubbles pop!
For the record I love both games. InFamous is my GTAIV to my Prototype's Saints Row 2.
OXCGN's known for doing great reviews of PS3 titles and for their E3 lists "Steal it for 360".
Fine by me and kinda flattering an Xbox site says such nice things about the competition.
EDIT @ below: LOL nah I prefer to actually post a comment than click a button. Bubbles for believing in the same thing. :D
But I'd love a good cricket game and this looks like a great improvement with much more depth on the bowling/fielding side.
Would also love the resurrection of Jonah Lomu rugby from PS1 days. I loved that game to death. :D
I've got a huge back catalogue I'm working through in anticipation of the Q4 onslaught and the new Q1 pandemonium.
Tales can wait a year for me. :D
