Way too late for that. That ship sailed a long time ago.
Same here, I couldn't be less interested in Pokemon, seems like a preteen thing. Embarrassing!
They did a great job with the SNES classic, great little mini console. And I appreciate that they actually produced enough of them to meet demand. I wasn't able to get an NES classic due to the bungled production issues, but I think they're re-releasing it later this year, which is good.
Nintendo hasn't "won" anything, they've just proven that they can still get away with selling mediocre gaming hardware to a small core of diehard fans. None of their games appeal to me at all, they're way overrated.
I don't think so. Add lots of anti-demonic weapons, combined with the bizarre environments, would have been much better than gameplay where you have to sneak around enemies that will otherwise just destroy you.
Apparently they've put out a patch to fix some issues such as a lack of checkpoints, but it's too late for this game. From what I've read, the gameplay could have been much better if it went with a more action oriented approach like Painkilker (they opted for more stealth). Too bad, this game had some potential but ultimately failed to deliver.
Well said. Nintendo just isn't serious about offering solid games and gaming hardware for mature gamers. I lost interest in the company after the N64 and haven't bothered with any of their products since that time (except the SNES Classic which I really like).
Those games are garbage. Pretty sad if that's all they could come up with.
This is because Nintendo is a very greedy company that tries to fleece its fans at every opportunity. Look at the 3DS, Wii, and Wii U, all three systems were hugely overpriced as were their games. Same exact thing is happening with the Switch.
The Switch really is overpriced considering the technology included, but that is very typical for Nintendo. Just look at the 3DS, Wii, and Wii U, all three were very substandard in terms of specs and features.
As for the shortcomings of the Switch, here are a few:
- Very small amount of internal storage (32gb, with only 25gb usable)
- Cheap joycons with tiny sticks and buttons, and poor dpad
- Poor quality 720p screen should have been 1080p and be...
Renting games is lame. People want to own them, not rent them. I own an Xbox One and I have zero interest in this service. And this article sounds like pure PR spin/hype, this isn't what gamers asked for in any way.
Completely agree. The courses, environments, weapons, characters, and music in All Stars Racing Transformed are all far superior to those features in MK8, which was very bland and sterile by comparison.
I'd much rather buy multiple classic mini consoles than pay money for the poorly emulated VC games that Nintendo has released. I have the SNES Classic and the emulation is excellent, with rich colors and crisp, sharp graphics. When you compare the excellent mini console emulation with VC emulation, colors are dull and muted, graphics are fuzzy and unsharp, and sound is off on the VC.
Smash is overrated, I certainly hope other developers don't follow that formula.
Paul Tassi at Forbes is a known pro-Nintendo troll who deliberately tries to downplay Sony products, don't give this horrible biased website any clicks.
This kind of game would fail miserably on the Switch, since most of the customer base prefers cartoony, "family friendly" games like Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, Kirby, etc. Switch is mainly for younger kids, not mature gamers.
It's a very substandard system when compared to the real consoles, not surprisingly it just can't run current generation games without substantial reductions in graphics, physics, resolution, etc. Once again Nintendo cuts corners like crazy to keep their costs down and profits up, at the expense of their loyal customers.
No problem, glad to help!
OZOS for immediate shipping but still able to be ordered from Amazon for $79.99, just will take longer to ship. These can also still be found at some Target, Best Buy, etc. Not remotely as difficult to find as the NES Classic, Nintendo did the right thing when producing enough of the SNES to meet demand.
The 3DS is dead, hardware is so outdated it's painful. Waste of time putting out any new games for it.
