Terrible idea that no true gamer wants. Go back to mobile and Nintendo games where casuals belong.
Totally agree. All this talk about who "won" or "lost" E3 is juvenile and immature. In the end what matters are games, pure and simple. And plenty of good games were shown or talked about on both the XBox One and PS4. I own both consoles so I'd like to see both do well.
Nintendo is in big trouble. While the Switch got off to a great start, the weakness of the hardware is now affecting 3rd party support. The novelty of having a new portable gaming system has faded away, and the lack of genuinely competitive exclusives is damaging the brand. Very glad I didn't fork over $400+ for an outdated, feature-lacking piece of hardware with a very limited selection of games.
Totally agree, this article was garbage.
It's a port with some additional content added, not a big deal for an old game.
@TGG - I can tell you're terribly disappointed. There's only one solution: sell your PS4 and just move on. That will teach them to do a better job in their marketing presentations in the future, won't it?
As usual.
As expected, once the excitement of a new Nintendo handheld wore off, and people realized that the portable is unable to run multiplatform games well, sales are dropping off. The fad is fizzling out, time for Nintendo to work on a new system.
The Pokemon games are trash and Smash is a port, not much to be excited about there.
Agreed. It's a complete non-issue. People should play the game on whatever platform they want, and just make a new account if they want to play on a different system. All the fake outrage is just trolls trying to throw shade on Sony for a silly minor reason.
No, its not a big deal at all. Nothing more than manufactured outrage promoted by anti-Sony trolls.
Probably not. Switch hardware is much weaker than the true consoles, so many 3rd party games won't run well enough to port over. And most people would just buy those games on the real consoles anyway, making the Switch versions sell poorly.
They don't have the technical expertise to do that unfortunately. Source: Nintendo Switch.
Your point was poorly thought out though. If the Switch is unable to run 3rd party games without substantial reductions in resolution, frame rate, and physics, those games are not likely to sell very well on the Switch, and most people will simply buy them for other platforms. That's why many developers are skipping the Switch for their games. Think things out a little before you post next time maybe?
A better title for this article: "Culturedvultures poorly written trolling articles continue to be an embarrassment ". Culturedvultures is the new Trollingbolt, don't give them the clicks.
You're missing a major point, which is that the Switch is technically way below the power of the PS4 and Xbox One. It really can't offer the same quality of 3rd party games as the other two consoles, so why bother? Just buy those games on the true consoles, and leave the indies and Nintendo first party titles to the Switch.
Wii Music was one of the most embarrassing moments from E3, really terrible.
Agreed. Hard to believe that anyone would buy the lame, gimmicky Labo cardboard junk, I bet it sold very poorly. Once again, Nintendo focuses on badly conceived gimmicks instead of things that actually improve gameplay. I understand that they aren't able to compete with the established consoles, but expensive cardboard junk certainly isn't the answer.
Please put "EU" in the title, otherwise you're wasting people's time if they are from other regions.
I don't think the author of this article understands the meaning of the word "deluded", that word makes no sense in this article. A console can't be "deluded". Go back to school kid.
