"Yet it plays console quality games?"
Not at the quality levels of the real home consoles, so not really. It's a handheld with the ability to connect to the TV, not a big deal.
Another poorly thought out article from Trollingbolt, nothing to see here, just move on.
Nintendo is a very greedy company, that won't happen anytime soon (look at the Wii U for proof).
Agreed. When you consider that both the PS4 and Xbox One are way cheaper than the Switch, and have way more power, plus much larger libraries of quality games, the Switch just isn't worth it.
Except it's a handheld. But keep trying.
Doesn't matter, Arms is trash. Horrible game gimped by lame motion controls.
The Wii U was a poorly designed, underpowered, feature-lacking system. It was entirely built around the expensive, unappealing gamepad gimmick, making the base console unable to handle games well at all. Saying that the Switch has a better GPU isn't saying much, when the bar was originally set so low.
Please put "UK" in the title or description, otherwise people won't know that it's not for North America.
That's a shame, Bayonetta 2 and 3 would perform much better on the two current home console systems, PS4 and XBox One. Bayonetta 3 will need to be heavily scaled down in terms of textures, frame rate, and resolution to run on the Switch.
Nintendo is a very cheap, stingy company, don't expect any great rewards anytime soon. Just look at how they cut corners on their hardware and charge high prices for it as proof.
You're right. The Switch is going to get mainly the usual cartoony first party games by Nintendo, like Zelda and Mario, and some indies. The hardware itself is unable to compete with the current generation consoles, so it won't have many bigger 3rd party games. Another opportunity missed by Nintendo, like so many before this.
No it doesn't, the Wii U was one of the worst consoles ever released. Poorly designed, terrible specs, and crippled by an unappealing gimmick.
The Switch is trash, save your money for a real gaming system.
No, it's far from a "masterstroke", this is nothing more than cheap cardboard trash sold at huge ripoff prices. Who would honestly pay $70+ for some cheap flimsy cardboard trash? Why is Nintendo constantly trying to release poor gimmicks in the gaming industry? Unbelievable.
Throw the cheap cardboard junk into the trash.
Cheap cardboard junk, hard to believe anyone would pay the ridiculous prices for such flimsy trash.
Horrible video. I had to cut it off when you started yelling.
