The Switch is already obsolete, just look at the weak specs.
Unfortunately they really didn't add a lot to games, the second screen was a waste of battery life and resources. The dual screen concept was, and still is, a gimmick that didn't make any difference for games. You won't see this concept again.
Most people don't connect their PCs to their big screen TVs, so they end up playing on a dinky monitor, which is lame. PCs aren't dedicated gaming systems, which is why consoles are so much better.
Most people just turned the awful 3D off, and later in the life of the handheld Nintendo barely mentioned 3D and most developers ignored it. This was a fad that ultimately failed to deliver better gaming experiences, it's not coming back.
Stop desperately running damage control for Nintendo's poor products and mediocre games, it gets really embarrassing after a while. Lay off the Nintendo koolaid, it's rotting your brain. It's very clear to most gamers that Nintendo left the console market years ago after the failure of the terrible Wii U (which you also staunchly defended), they are no longer a part of the console community. Once you are able to admit that, you can realize that the Switch is not ever going to comp...
How do you know it "plays better on the Switch" when the game isn't even out yet? Stop drinking that Nintendo koolaid and wake up to the truth, the Switch is technically incapable of delivering games at even close to the level of a real console, and that is never going to change, no matter how many times you click your heels together and wish for it to happen.
"...better aiming through the gyro", LOL. No one wants to play an FPS using lame motion controls, except apparently people who make excuses for Nintendo's mediocre hardware. What a joke!
I think you missed the point, too much Nintendo koolaid obviously.
It should be called crapkh.com really.
Motion controls are a gimmicky, poor way to play the game. I feel sorry for you if you think they are a great way to play.
Sorry to hear that. Hope you get your money back soon.
Who cares? Only the trolling websites looking for clicks.
These old arcade games aren't terrible, but they would have done a lot better to release a Neo Geo collection on PS4 instead. Although most of those games have already been released digitally via Arcade Archives.
Who would place any credibility in a website named "giombastomp.com"? It's pretty clear what their agenda is. Garbage.
This game looks fantastic, looking forward to trying it out in a few weeks!
Had they "listened to the gamers" before the release of the Xbox One, they would never have built it around the Kinect gimmick (which was later abandoned). I do own an XB1S and enjoy it (as well as a PS4), but it could have been much better without Kinect.
The "Cloud" was a bunch of worthless hype, never amounted to anything at all. And I say this as a happy owner of an XB1S and PS4 as well. That Cloud BS was never able to improve gaming in any way, shame they kept harping on it for years instead of focusing on the hardware itself.
Pretty narrow point of view. There are a lot of great twin-stick shooters out there, open up your mind to new experiences.
Very mediocre list of games. Hard to believe people are excited about the future of the Switch.
Once again, the media is trying to take a very minor issue, and blow it way out of proportion. I stopped visiting IGN a long time ago, when the quality of their articles took a nosedive due to a loss of many experienced journalists. The site is garbage now, and this article is nothing more than jumping on the bandwagon for cheap clicks. Crossplay is a very minor issue that almost no one cares about. Find something legit to write about next time.
