I had the same problem with tons of pop-up ads that refused to go away, absolutely horrible website. Why does N4G allow this kind of garbage site to be posted?

WARNING: I clicked on the nextgengaming link to read the article, and my android phone was bombed out with tons of pop-up ads that refused to go away. There were ads saying that my phone was infected or hacked (it isn't) and asking to "clean up" the fake problems. Stay FAR away from this site unless you don't mind very intrusive, obnoxious ads and obvious attempts to infect your device with spyware and viruses.

Regarding the GOW XB1 console, I personally ...

That makes no sense at all. It's not because Sony doesn't want to "go over budget on watts", it's because all consoles draw much less power than PCs due size, cost, and heat dissipation issues. The more watts consumed, the more heat generated, the higher chance of failure unless cooling is well implemented.

I agree. You should report the article for that reason.

To be fair, it doesn't take a lot of votes to approve articles on N4G. And gamingbolt's anti-gaming articles always attract a lot of attention, so the N4G administration probably likes having them posted.

Another anti-Sony/MS article from gamingbolt, with useless complaints that make no sense. Typical clickbait from this source. Don't bother clicking, you'll just contribute to a site that is desperate for clicks.

And on the subject, the new PS4 and XB1 do indeed deserve new SKU numbers, since they are newer models of the original consoles. Nothing wrong with distinguishing them with new SKUs.

"Nintendo's Indie Success"? What success? The Wii U was a barren wasteland when it came to games of all types, including indies; most indie game developers have moved on to the much better PS4 and XB1 platforms. The author of this article really seems to be grasping for straws, citing a few games as evidence of some great "success".

Come on, this is Nintendo we are talking about. It'll be a lazy port in SD, complete with the spastic motion controls that ruined the original game

It's supposedly a handheld/home console hybrid, so unless the home console "dock" has extra storage, it looks bad.

"Digital downloads are not the future"

You do know that many games are released only digitally on consoles (including the Wii U)? So would you prefer to just ignore all those digital only releases? If so, you're missing out on a lot of fantastic games.

Well, at least it will remove Nintendo from the "console war", I'm sure that's what you meant.

Like many others who keep mentioning cartridges, you forgot about digital games.

You forgot about digital games.

There is nothing new to say about the NX, this article is just clickbait garbage.

Nintendo really is a very arrogant company. They don't consult developers or gamers regarding their hardware designs, don't listen to fans desires regarding games, and just use a"take it or leave it" attitude when it comes to their games and products. Unfortunately that approach has greatly damaged their standing in the gaming industry and community, so they have a long path ahead of them if they hope to turn things around.

WARNING: This website is infected with a virus, on my mobile phone I got a nasty pop-up webpage that claimed my phone was infected with a virus, and it continually "buzzed" my phone with vibrations. Don't click on the link!

The pop-up page said my phone was infected with a virus that drains my battery, and it offered to "fix" the problem if I installed some garbage.

The Wii U was crippled by its pitiful internal storage (among other issues), it looks like the NX is heading in the same direction. Why can't Nintendo stop being so cheap, and actually offer a competitive, feature-rich product for the money? They just never learn.

3471d ago 7 agree8 disagreeView comment

It may not be, this is Nintendo we are talking about after all. They're well known for being stingy with specs and features.

3471d ago 4 agree6 disagreeView comment

No, it isn't. Stop making excuses for Nintendo's bad decisions. For anyone who cares about digital games, 32gb of internal storage is a joke.

3471d ago 12 agree11 disagreeView comment

@ fr0sty - That doesn't seem likely. Where are digital games going to be stored if not in the internal memory (and of course a supplemental memory card)? Or do you think Nintendo just won't offer digital games at all?
