This game should help improve PS4 sales in Japan and perhaps in other regions as well. The sooner 3rd party Japanese developers start producing games for current gen consoles the better. This is off topic but, I'm a big fan of Jrpgs so, hopefully Sony will get some Jrpg's on board in the next couple of years as well. I'd love to see new core Shin Megami Tensei, Tales and Dragon Quest games. Too bad Persona 5 isn't coming to the PS4. I'll be picking it up for my PS3 but wo...
Good to hear a MS executive not giving us bs pr - it's refreshing to hear. I'm still trying to figure out how Phil thinks that making the kinect optional will actually enable MS to sell more of them but perhaps he's turned over a new leaf. I know it's off topic, but why would anyone want purchase the new kinectless sku over the Titanfall or Forza bundles that include the kinect? The X1 was designed around the kinect. The bundles are a much better value.
Well, I'm in my 50's and have two adult children and I still play games. Maybe I'm weird but, what's wrong with being weird. I never was one for social stereotypes or conventions anyway - they're for conformists. As far as Nintendo games go, I started to tire of them about the same time my kids did. Still think they make great games, they're just not for me anymore.
Hopefully, Sony will reveal a couple of AAA exclusives to be released this year that haven't already been revealed. I will be a little disappointed if all the big reveals are for games not coming until 2015 or 2016.
The fact that he feels a need to state that he doesn't want it to be about him indicates, imo, that Phil has a bit of an ego problem.
Well, I haven't played The Last of US and the Metro series so, for me, the remastered versions are not money grabs and I plan to purchase them. More content, whether it be new or remastered, is always a good thing as it provides customers with more choice. As others have stated before me, no one is forcing you to buy any of these remasters. Also, companies like Naughty Dog have the resources to work on remasters and new games.
Didn't play the game on PS3 so, I'm excited about this game. Still playing Watch Dogs and enjoying it immensely so if the Last of US Remastered does release in the next couple of weeks I will wait until I've finished with WD to buy it.
Where in the article does it state that he prefers Xbox One?
Perhaps it's cross-gen because MS is disappointed with the Xbox One's sales performance and wants to tap in to the 80 million plus 360 user base. That said, I agree that it shouldn't effect the quality of the Xbox One version.
Whine, whine, whine --- don't buy a console in it's first year of release if you expect it to have a lot of AAA exclusive games. It takes time to build up a library. That said, imo, Sony is doing a pretty good job of making sure there is enough content to keep a lot of gamers happy. I'm not a big fan of indies but I also have a backlog of games for other consoles and handhelds (PS3, Xbox 360, PS Vita, 3DS and Wii) to keep me happy while I wait for Sony to provide me with great ...
He's a she - did you not read the profile?
Just curious. How and where did all the above commenters who allegedly have played this game get their copy before the release date? I am skeptical, especially when it comes to the console versions, about their remarks. If you're playing Watch Dogs now, then post some pics or videos to prove it.
While I agree that the PS4 version looks better, I don't agree that it looks substantially better. In fact, I can see why some may think the Xbox One looks better as they may prefer the brighter appearance seen in the Xbox One version.
Imo, the PS4 version looks a little better. It's darker than the Xbox One version which looks a little washed out. I don't agree that the Xbox One version has more vibrant colors - I don't see them but maybe that's just me. The biggest difference I noticed was in the level of detail in the foliage. The hedge that you pass by after smashing the bus stop, imo, has more detail in the PS4 version. But, the differences are minor and both the Xbox One and PS4 versions look grea...
I know quite a few people who own both the 360 and the PS3 who haven't upgraded yet because they're waiting for more current generation games to come for both the Xbox One and the PS4. What Medhi said is partially true, many Xbox 360 owners haven't upgraded yet because they're satisfied with their 360's but the same holds true for PS3 owners. However, trying to explain the sales gap between the PS4 and the Xbox One by implying that Xbox 360 owners are more satisfied with t...
Spin, spin and more bs spin. Say what you want MS but the Ps4 still outsold the Xbox One by more than 80k units in the US in April.
My arse is a super computer - it produces even more gas and bs than MS could ever light a match to.
There's a fence?
Fanboy - give us proof that MORE SONY FANBOYS comment in Xbox articles. You're a hypocrite at best-dumb-a-s, and very septic. Got a lot of bs in your tank apparently.
I like well made turned based rpgs like you find in the Shin Megami Tensei series - they give you the chance to think before you play and be strategic. But I like rpgs and even games like AC4 and Watchdogs that have rpg game elements in them in general.
