Yes, you can tell the difference. That said, fanboys suck!
I have always owned multiple consoles and I don't have a preference when it comes to controllers. Whether it be the Dualshock 3, the Xbox 360's controller, the Dualshock 4, or the controllers for the N64,Gamecube, PS2, Xbox, Wii, I don't give a sh##t, I learned to use them all and enjoyed playing games with them. I've never met a controller I couldn't adapt to.
Well, if they didn't get paid hourly, they got the same
pay check they'd get for not sacrificing their lives. Hopefully, they'll be rewarded with a good bonus.
Phil is a big improvement but, he still made the illogical statement in defense of the the Kinect, and I'll paraphrase this, that the Kinect would sell more now that the Kinectless sku has been released. Hopefully, in the future he'll think more carefully before making statements like this.
Yeah! Not sure if he's a shill/fanboy for MS or he's just covering MS products in general as a reporter. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Regardless, the headline really should read something like: "Why Xbox 360 gamers ----.) Drop the word 'real' because it's kind of judgmental.
I've been playing this game 2-3 hrs a day since it was released and have enjoyed it very much - good bang for my buck. Still only half way through the campaign. I enjoyed playing Gang Hide Out, CTOS, and crime intervention side quests to grind for skill points, though, so far, I'm not a big fan of most of the Fixer Contract side quests.
The MS PR Dept has no shame. I'm not saying games like Ryse and Forza (more so than Ryse) aren't good games but they are not GOTY material. This bs goes up there with MS BSOTY hits like Phil Spencer stating that he thinks the kinect will actually sell more now that the Xbox One is being offered without it and that The Cloud will increase the Xbox One's power by a factor of 4.
Was down. Now it's back up. I'm in the SF Bay Area in California. When it was down, I started up Watch Dogs. The game connected online but it took about a minute to do so. Annoying but not a huge deal.
For first year consoles, both the PS4 and Xbox One have plenty of games - exclusive and multiplat - to keep people busy, especially towards the end of the year. Enjoy the games, and stop this ridiculous pissing contest already.
Watch Dogs is a deep game. The game's packed with side missions and there's a lot to do. The game has a learning curve - I wouldn't call it hard but it's certainly not easy. I can understand that gamers who don't have the patience to play the game for a few hours and figure out how best to approach it, may find it too frustrating to continue. Watch Dogs is not strictly an action game. It has significant RPG elements and if you don't like grinding for skill points by...
This is what beta testing is for - Sony can't really test Now without getting feedback on the pricing structure as well as feedback on the service itself. If a significant amount of beta testers refuse to participate due to unreasonable fees, then I would expect Sony to modify their fee structure. Like I've said before, PS Now should be discounted for PS+ members. Such a policy, would drive PS+ membership sales up and benefit Sony Playstation's bottom line
Watch Dogs was a day one purchase for me. For the first few hours, Watch Dogs frustrated me, but I kept on playing and I'm still having a blast with it. Imo, Watch Dogs is not an easy game and I think this turns off the more casual gamer. There's a lot to do in the game and it takes time to hone your driving, combat and stealth/strategy skills. I find grinding for skill points by completing various side quests particularly rewarding. Gang Hide Outs and CTOS centers are my favorite...
For an AAA game to drop in price before release is an unusual situation. Sony's boiler plate 'no refund' policy wasn't designed to cover this kind of situation. The fact they acted quickly, as most level headed people expected they would, to resolve the problem shows that they listen to consumers. I would expect that MS and Nintendo would have done the same as none of the big 3 want bad pr to turn off customers and potential customers. This shows how important healthy comp...
Even though I have a PS3, I haven't played The Last Of Us. Really looking forward to playing it on my PS4. For me it's a good deal at $49.99. A little off topic, but it has been confirmed by Sony that anybody who pre-ordered the game through Psn for $59.99 will be getting a $10.00 refund. So, those of who you were prematurely getting you knickers in a twist over the 'Sony refuses to refund' fiasco can calm down now. 4374d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment
The 'test' prices are too high. Hopefully, Sony listens to the negative feed back and comes up with a more reasonable pricing structure. A significant discount for PS+ members would be a good start as it would be another incentive for Playstation console owners to sign up for the service. As for this article - the author is obviously an idiot.
If the Xbox One continues to lag significantly behind the PS4 in sales, then I expect MS to release it's successor sooner than Sony releases the successor to the PS4. Just a guess - next Xbox in 4-5 years, next Playstation in 5-6 years. Sony will continue to support the PS4 for a couple of years, not sure if MS will do the same with the X1. However, it's still too early to predict what's going to happen this generation let alone how long it will last.
Oh no! Our enemy Playstation and it's fanboys are getting more Destiny content than us for a whole year. It's the Apocalypse. How dare those traitorous Bungie bastards?
Imo, only the worst kind of fanboy gets upset over timed exclusive content deals.
Sony needs to rewrite their 'no refund' disclaimer on digital purchases to allow for msrp changes to avoid this kind of embarrassing pr in the future. That said, I'd be surprised if they don't address the issue quickly and charge the same price for everyone regardless on when they purchased the game. I don't believe Sony, MS and Nintendo, after seeing the backlash that happened with the E3 2013 Xbox One reveal, want to piss off their customers. If Sony fails to address th...
Apparently, you don't mind being real about your ignorance. If you want to troll, at least be real about the facts.
You sir are a hypocrite.
