I don't buy games that do not have a single player/off line mode. That said, I'm all for diversity but, I hope developers will still give us guys who like to play solo something to play.
Games are works of fiction. They are not real. Unless you're a fundamentalist Christian/Muslim/Jew, I don't understand why your religion should prevent you from enjoying most games. Imo, those who believe that religious texts like the Bible are literally the word of God, rather than inspired by the word of God, have a fundamental inability to distinguish fact from myth and fiction. The fundamentalist world, imo, is very small and lacks wonder
Neutral? Then why spew so much vitriol at one specific group of gamers? Your opinion about which game you prefer was fine until you stunk it up. I smell a troll. Do us all a favor and get your self a bottle of that 'Destiny' perfume. Maybe it will cover up the stink.
PSN is up and working for me here in San Francisco. Prediction: both PSN and Xbox Live will have problems when Destiny goes live.
Why would it be cool? That said, unless Chinese gamers buy the Xbox One en mass, it's unlikely that its release in these countries, most of which are Playstation strongholds, will help it to come even close to surpassing the PS4. Don't forget that the PS4 Destiny Bundle is releasing next week - it's going to sell a lot of PS4's.
The voice actor who played Jordi did an excellent job - I liked the character even though he was a total psychopath.
I loved Watch Dogs. Despite all the hatred that seems to be directed towards it, it sold very well and provided me with over 80 hrs of game play. Aiden may have not been the most memorable character but I thought the core story was well written, the supporting cast was interesting and the core game play was solid. The game generally got good reviews from critics.
For those people who ragged on ND for releasing a remaster so soon after the original release - obviously the remaster was a very good business decision.
Some games these days don't even come with a digital manual which sucks especially when the game has a complex control scheme. I understand that the days of physical manuals are gone but at least give us a digital manual. An inbox layout of the control scheme would be nice too - it's a useful thing to refer to when you still learning the scheme. Just put it on the inside of the cover - no paper wasted that way.
I own a PS4 and have so far been very satisfied with its games and performance plus last generation consoles PS3, Xbox 360 and the Wii. I also have the original 3DS and the Vita. During the last generation, my PS3 got the most play, Wii was second and the 360 last. The reasons my 360 was played least are: I'm not a big FPS or multiplayer guy; and I preferred the exclusive action/adventure games and Jrpgs offered on the other platforms. I loved the first Kinnect, however, and played Ki...
World wide best sales estimates show that the 360 is in third place for last generation however, it has dominated the PS3 in the USA and UK. This so called journalist needs to be more precise with his statements.
My god you're ill-informed. The Wii won the last generation and the PS3 has, to this point, outsold the Xbox 360 worldwide. It is true that the 360 easily outsold the PS3 in the USA and UK however.
Debating on whether to pick up the Wii U or the 'New' 3Ds for Xmas. Currently, I have the 'original' 3Ds, Wii, Vita, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4 so, I don't really need to pick up any new console or handheld however, Xenoblade for the 'New' 3Ds is really tempting. Wii U for Mario Kart, Smash Bros and eventually the new Zelda is also tempting.
How about some British oldies from the glitter/glam rock era like Marc Bolan & T.Rex, Slade, David Bowie and Roxy Music. Probably not going to happen.
I really enjoyed Infamous SS and Watch Dogs. I don't understand why they're getting so much hate. Assassins Creed 4 could be considered open world as well and I liked that game even more (mostly because of the naval battles.) I haven't played GTA since GTA 3 - didn't like that game. I'm sure the franchise has evolved but to be frank, I couldn't get into another Rockstar game either - Red Dead Redemption. Rockstar is known to produce what most consider to be superior...
I expect many to disagree with my above comment but, I'd be skeptical of an enthusiastic statement on an upcoming game coming from a Sony or Nintendo PR guy too. That said, Greenberg is a proven bs artist.
Why is this even being reported? I'm sure Quantum break will be decent but Aaron Greenberg is not exactly a reliable source. He's a pr/marketing dude who recently mislead the public by denying that the next TR is a timed exclsuive: http://n4g.com/news/1565694... Bottom line - don't take any thing Greenberg says at face value
Just curious - is the $499 Kinect bundle (with or with out Forza or Titanfall) easy to get through normal retail channels? Ms recently discontinued the Titanfall bundle and Amazon prime and Gamestop don't seem to be really offering the standard bundle on-line. I hope MS will at least continue to offer the bundle because I consider the Kinect to be an essential component of the console. If they discontinue the bundle well that, imo, would basically be a big f u to the consumer.
I'm a big fan of ND and the Uncharted Series. But CD showed with TR: The Definitive Edition that they have the graphical chops to compete with ND as far as graphics are concerned. The Last OF Us Remastered, imo, does not look as good as TR: The Definitive Edition most likely because it was ported from the PS3. I'm on my first play through of TLOUR. I love the story but I'm a little disappointed with the graphics and game play. So far, I prefer the game play of TR. That said, i...
The color of a console doesn't do anything for me. It could be purple with yellow polka dots and as long as it performs well I could care less. If I had to choose, I'd go with black over white. That said, the white Destiny Bundle is going to sell a crap load of PS4s so, it's obviously good marketing by Sony.
