Can the PS3 get any better?
I believe the next update allows the system to sprout metallic legs and travel the globe, killing Terrorists, tyrannical dictators and all-round bad guys. Legend will pass into myth and in a few thousand years, the PS3 might just be worshipped by followers around the world as the one true saviour.

SOC was perfect. A beautiful game intense and alive with a remarkable score and unique gameplay. I can't wait to see where it goes and what they do with this new one.

Give them a break. They've no other actual exclusive games to go on about so this exclusive cost-ridden exclusive content for a single game means a lot to them.
I wish I could get it for the PS3 but I think it's crazy you gotta pay for the stuff! Soon, you'll buy blank discs and just download the whole game...

Sony know what they are doing. This will pull in:
A. The kids and OAPs buying wiis who will realise it's naff.
B. X-Bots who finally realise RROD is a serious issue.
I'll be too busy watching Blu-Rays and playing GTA4 to care that much about it but I do know it will blow the X-box Live Money-Making Scheme out the water. Because it's FREE!

(quite a large section, so I'll specify that it sucks because it still uses ancient DVD technology from the previous gaming era. It is laughed at by some intelligent cultures of the globe)
I don't buy dodgy equipment. Period. I expect my PS3 to last me several years and know that Sony will always replace it for like 60 bucks.
Reliability means everything to consumers. Especially in Europe and Japan. A 3 year extended warranty for a known fault that they tried to cover up aint reliability. It's just crappy hardware!

GTA3, Vice City and San Andreas = PS2
GTA Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories = PSP

I can't believe folk are going on about achievement points. What the hell? The thing about GTA4 is that it's gonna be a killer game nomatter what console you own. But achievements don't mean anything to me.
What does is the exclusive content. This will drive 360 sales, despite the idiots have to pay for it additionally. I hate the idea of episodic content. But if there is a single reason in the whole wide world why to buy a 360 it would be that content. I'd rather the city bigg...
I like to hear details as much as the next guy, but official info is always best. Fanboys and Reviews always spoil things. I hate hearing rubbish rumours like MGS4 coming to 360 or all the lies we heard about Crysis.
It just angers me but I keep reading so who am I gonna blame other than myself?

I don't think anyone doubts that it's all downhill for the 360 from here, there's nothing to draw in new gamers or gamers yet to make the next-gen leap to their system.
Still, if EA and Ubisoft keep delivering sub-standard versions of games for Sony's badboy then this might significantly damage the console's reputation.
Either way, 2008 is a great year for games. I can't wait. GTA4 baby!
If this means EA will encourage more games to be developed on the PS3 then this will make me happy. They are notorious for crappy 360 ports like Fight Night R3. Fifa was good but rather than just posting predictions, couldn't they at least attempt to make something that shines on the PS3
I love the PS3 and think it and don't think the 360 comes close to it's divine power.
But sales figures are pretty hard to care about. It's good there's more gamers with a decent console. But it's not like it's us that make the money off these toys for big kids!
