I have an amazing HDTV and I've watched both versions. Neither look as good as the 360 advertisements do. But the game looks identical.
I hate these fanboys who feel the need to PROVE that the 360 is still a worthwhile console. Leave it alone. Let the people judge.
I think he dismisses the wii because although extremely successful in console sales, it has no lasting appeal. But so far, it is winning this war.

Even if he did say it (which I don't believe he did), I think there was plenty of titles last year, this year so far and the next 12 months to come.
I've never been bored since I bought my PS3. This is the first time I've ever had this with a console -something I never get tired of. Life is great.

Who needs to bash the 360? I think Microsoft do that themselves very well.
I think it's obvious there is some issues M$ need to address for the 360 to really compete with the PS3. It's not a terrible console, but lousy hardware and having to pay for everything has left many 360 owners, including myself, rather sore.
In-game XMB for PS3 is coming, but it's hardly something to boast about that the 360 has. What about all the things it DOESN'T have?

I'd rather have services that work later than expected, as opposed to having services available early that are bug-ridden and full of hassle.
I like things to be advanced and as perfect as possible. Sony have my full trust, I can honestly say they haven't disapointed me since I got my PS3.

Great game but I think the real issues aren't the online bits, it's the lack of things to do after the story and how there is only 2 freakin helicopters.

There are loads of great games on PS3. But then, you've probably never played Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, Motorstorm, Warhawk, Metal Gear Online Beta etc.?
And that's just the exclusives. Add Oblivion and GTAIV and you have the reason I get very little work done. I've got over 35 games I consider classics I wouldn't trade/sell. And there are tons of games on ther horizon too!

I love that game.
It angers me when people say there are no decent games for PS3. Because if there wasn't, I'd still be playing Motorstorm. It was a great game but I just got caught up playing all the phenomenal games available now.

I hate these stories too. There are too many 'stories' that are really just bloated opinions of nobodies. It's annoying when there is brilliant breaking news that N4G is responsible for.
But is this story news? No. It's just a bitter fanboy. Video Software always does better during the holidays, we all know this. Blu-Ray aint going nowhere. It's a great format.
So why all the hate?
It's all a ploy to make more money.
I hate how the 360 is geared that way. All about maximising revenue and screwing over gamers. It's like Xbox Live. Why should we pay for it? It's nothing that spectacular, it should be free.
Microsoft seem to want everything in your wallet right away.

GTAIV represents a game that many people can get behind; it showcases phenomenal advances in gaming technology. But the wii? It'll be forgotten next year.

I aint had any problems with GTA thus far. My friends who have 360s and PS3s are the same. The game is phenomenal. But as consoles go, I'd rather play it on the better console (PS3).
I have the PS3 version. I have a huge mutherf*cker of a TV and didn't have any graphical issues whatsoever. It's a beautiful game and a great start on the new GTA franchise. However, I have my moans.
My major issues with GTAIV are:
1. You can't climb poles like they said you would be able to.
2. Climbing buildings/reaching the roof is too difficult.
3. Most stores/arms dealers look the same inside.
4. There is nothing to replace the missing Rampages ...
But I think what Sony are trying to do is to show new gamers and casual gamers how to get involved in the whole community thing. Although it's not something I would get really excited about, I can see all the females I know digging it.
However, it'll be nice to customise things and meet my buddies on PSN from elsewhere in the world.
