The game will be great on both systems. Overall, I admit the 360 version will have the downloadable content but as you have to pay for it, and there's no news on what it actually contains.
Personally, I'd rather play it on superior hardware.

V1c1ous, have you played resistence? Because if you have, you would know the maps can be massive. As such, these battles turn out to be good old-fashioned war and not just a 'frag fest'.
Still, I'd rather listen to a develpoer who HAS made a fun and lag-free 40 player online mode as opposed to a company who leans on Big Daddy Microsoft a sub-par FPS.
Resistance improved gaming standards and gave us new weapons and characters to play with. Halo 3 sold some more dodgy X-boxes for the man.

We want NEW things in games. Not just rehashed classics. I played Goldeneye on an N64 last year and I can't understand how, or more importantly, why you would want to upgrade it and try selling it again as an "exclusive".
Anyways, it doesn't matter. Goldeneye isn't coming out. It's just wild speculation by greedy journalists and fanboys.

Pure speculation. There's been no official word about this anywhere. It's just a rumour used to hype up the 360 fanbase and sell more magazines.
I find it so incredibly anti-productive. Tell us REAL news about REAL games. Not rumours about games over a decade old. All this confirms is that Microsoft really have nothing planned this year but wild rumours.
candystop, I think it is imperative that we acknowledge problems put in place by the coporations that make money from us. Sony and Microsoft are all about our money. They want it. And we want quality.
You shouldn't call other people's opinions junk when you are strangely defending a corporation who launched a dodgy console. Everyone I know has now had it replaced. Some twice. That's just my observation. And the observation is the 360 is a mess.
I doubt they'll ever fully fix the issue.
I think that with the USA's recent economic troubles that consumers will be more conscious of faulty products. They'll respond by not re-purchasing the console after the warranty and system expires or by not buying Microsoft's next rushed console.

You can't blame the discs, and if you do then you shoulda been wiser and bought a PS3. I have 30 titles now and not one is scratched due to it's groovy superior Blu-ray technology.

Yeah, I'd much rather have a reliable system. That's what makes me buy a console. THEN the quality of games. Nothing is worse than ending up with a peice of broken crap.
But I can't see how you could get downloadable content that's "equal to Vice City/San Andreas". Xbox Live doesn't do large downloads. Has there been one over a gig yet? It'll almost certainly be a few extra missions.
