I don't want Fable II anyway. Or another Halo rehash either. Gears is pretty cool, but this story makes me sad because as much as I think the 360 sucks (and it does suck), this means fewer people can enjoy the phenomenon that is Blu-Ray.
What good is a HDMI port without Blu-Ray? Downloadbale films? Don't make me laugh.
To be honest, I haven't seen anything available for any other console that rivals what is available for the PS3. The best hardware, the best games, the best online community.

My g/f bought an Elite in February and it's already RRODed, so don't give me your sh*t. It's an ongoing issue for everyone else who has a 360 anyway, so don't try to sweep it under the carpet!
As for not having any games to play, you don't know what you're talking about. Played Wipeout HD? Warhawk? Or the mighty MGS4? And what exactly is it you think the 360 still has over the PS3? GeOW? Halo 3? Neither are worth buying dodgy hardware for.

I figure the 360 will come out on top this season too due solely to the price plummet. It's perfect for moms and dads at christmas. They won't know any better, which is kind of sad but it's the truth.

The 360 is falling apart. It's online growth is losing momentum and the number of traded-in consoles has drastically risen. I couldn't care less if it was able to beat the PS3 this generation, but I see it as highly unlikely. The 360 is like a dated pornstar whose spent his load before the director could yell cut!

I played the demo and really lied it. I thought it looked and played fine. I never actually played it on the 360 but my mates all said it was awesome, and it even got numerous Game Of The Year awards.
I'm glad I'll finally get a chance to play it on my beloved PS3 but it's a shame it came out when there's loads of great game coming out, such as LBP, Fallout 3 and Resistance 2. And I'm still playing Wipeout HD, Warhawk and Metal Gear Online. So I might have to leave it till anot...

I have to say, I like buying the collector's editions for games of they are any good. I would LOVE a Shadow Of The Collossus Collector's Edition for example.
But I agree with OOG, the GTAIV Special Collector's Edition isn't exactly that Special, or collectable as every idiot with the game got one.
I like the new Gears and Resistance boxsets, I just don't like it when they are over-priced.
MGS4 is my favourite game ever! I'm sure MGS5 would be phenomenal but I think they should just leave it alone.

You're right, Microsoft tends to truly promote their games, where as Sony don't. But I like this. Halo 3 is the most overbloated, overhyped game I've ever played, whereas Resistance: Fall Of Man was a pleasant suprise as I knew very little about it.
Bottom line: Let the games do the talking. (Ahem, that is if your console is still working. lol)
I still play Resistance on PSN but haven't touched Gears on PC since it was released. Good game, but come on! Resistance and the mighty PS3 wipe the floor with that faulty M$ console!
Case-in-point= As of yesterday, everyone I know who has bought a 360 has had it die on them! Still on my first PS3.
I got my girlfriend to download it for me as I'm stuck at work right now. I hope there aint any issues when I get home! I'm sure I've got under 50 PSN buddies.
