Definitely too early. A 2019 announcement could happen with a launch in 2020 or a 2020 announcement and launch, but if I had to pick I'd go for that last one. '20 just seems like a good launch year.
A better question is: who do you think will make the announcement first?
I commend you guys for putting the article on one page. Thank you! No disrespect, but please let this be the beginning of a trend.
Back on topic, yes, the ESRB's label is too broad. Loot boxes and microtransactions shouldn't be thrown in with other digital items, because it hides the problem.
As I said before, a red sticker, label, whatever, should be placed somewhere on the plastic wrap in front of the box indicating that loot boxes or microtransactions ar...
And while I do agree with you, I still think that this reward system could have been handled differently without the extra initiative for digital only, or at least having points not expire, which is what hurts the most, I feel.
One Gold Point = one cent. And they expire in one year for physical media in North American and Australian regions, and within two years for European region.
Says on Nintendo's site: "If you pay $59.99 for a game on Nintendo eShop, you’ll earn 300 Gold Points. Those points can be redeemed for $3.00 toward your next eligible purchase."
Wow. Just. Wow. Nintendo, go to your room. We'll talk later about how I still buy physical media.
Years ago the Supreme Court ruled that video games are protected under the First Amendment.
I said everything I needed to say without diving into full on specifics or bringing a political agenda into it, so the sooner you stop jumping to conclusions over the simplest comment and attacking someone for no reason the better.
You do know that "coming weeks" in Rockstar lingo means "coming months"? Seriously, though, there's no need for them to give constant updates, because no one has forgot what they have coming. Rockstar is one of the select few of developers who could simply tweet something and it be front page news in gaming. As a survivor of Rare in the 90s, my advice would be just to simply not worry about it, because it would drive you insane.
Every generation has one: rock and roll, television, movies, and now video games. The one thing they have in common is being misunderstood.
So it is, and will always be, easy to point at what we don't completely understand, but like each one of those mediums before games time is on our side.
The First Amendment.
Yep, in the third outing Jax is chosen to fight and gets bionic implants.
And with the continuity how it is, he later replaces them completely and then in the reboot (9, I believe) Ermac rips his arms off and then he gets cybernetic arms.
And I am sorry for my overly long answer or "This Moment in Gaming History" lesson, Sam.
So in other words, everyone should fully expect girls in bikinis streaming a video game on the beach on/after March 5th. I hope those preteens can survive on google search for a few days.
I'm not 100% sure about "ever," though I wouldn't doubt it if it were, but it definitely has been very surprising and enjoyable. I've got my money's worth, I know that.
Looks like more padding for their future. Don't disappoint, Ubi.
I hope you're right, because that would be one helluva film.
"We cannot confirm this rumour. As of now, we do not have any current plans to announce Diablo for Switch. This tweet was meant to be a fun engagement piece. We do not have any plans to announce Diablo for Switch."
Didn't Bethesda try a similar tactic with Skyrim? Blizzard, I'm not sure whether you're messing with me or trying to error 37 me, but it's cool, I'll wait.
I would say sure if you're ready for a breath of fresh air, but if you're on the fence I would wait till at least after E3 before making a purchase. That way, Nintendo has had enough time to show off their plans.
I truly hope you do. It was worth every penny for me. Admittedly, when it was called the NX I was skeptical, mainly because of the Wii eras, but after the announcement video and the games I've played it has been a terrific purchase since launch.
Classic. That was pretty cool. In my opinion, with the sprites being altered in 3D like this proves that less can be more in the graphics department. Now I'm having a tough time not imagining this game on a larger scale with the space on a disk nowadays. That's a heck of a fighter!
Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Final Fantasy 7, Half-Life 2: The Academy just doesn't like sci-fi, so if something like Blade Runner can only grab a nomination for their technical achievements then beyond that they would not rise. Best way to grab a big win would be to make it in 3D animation and hope Pixar doesn't make a film that year.
Alan Wake: A film comparison would be that of Stephen King or H.P. Lovecraft, so a decent return at the box office would be all tha...
Ha! Sweet!
