Wish Sega released 1 - 4, but I'll take what I can get. Never played a Valkyria title and now is as good of a time to start as any.
Completely agree, and that really should be how they do it if they must.
In my opinion, this is crappy knowing that someone could go back and edit something you bought and paid for.
Other mediums lose their licensing all the time, like movies or TV shows, but no one goes to your home and takes your blurays/dvds.
Assuming it goes well, Saturn and Dreamcast titles would be great, especially on the go.
Agreed. I truly hope Sam's next mission is more like the first game or Chaos Theory for that matter. To tell you the truth, though, I would settle for Ironside back (supposedly he is) and Ubi-soft just distancing themselves from Blacklist.
The last title, as the author mentions, just didn't feel right, like, at all, at least for me. Ironside is Sam Fisher. I still don't buy that mocap garbage Ubi stated as to why Ironside wasn't in Blacklist, but one part of what made...
Fatuous or not, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
Any game, whether a remake or not, shouldn't be announced so early. That old saying that "hype kills" is just as important for games as it was (and probably still is) consoles.
Both Resident Evil 2 and Final Fantasy 7 remakes would have been more amazing if confirmed well into development and not - arguably - seen as a last-ditch effort by two studios trying to show the fans that they care.
Don't get me wrong, I very much would love to play both t...
Yikes. This makes me look at King of Kong a bit differently now.
No way. As long as there are games and people willing to play, then there will always be a fellow gamer (or completionist) wanting to own a classic or older title.
It's always nice of EA to give us exact times, or warnings rather, of their future tools that they're going to use to try to screw us over.
Just like any gaming event, exclusive talk, or sales, though, I wouldn't expect him to say different. Nevertheless, it is an interesting read, and it's good to hear from House again.
Otherwise, this would be a hilarious article. "Yeah, consoles have a solid 10 years. Give or take. As long as we're playing after, right? Who am I kiddin' - we got 'em!"
Totally. That's punishment for shoplifting in some parts of the globe. Your turn if you want to.
They definitely are becoming more frequent, sadly. The year is just gearing up, so there's time to outdo this one.
I remember one article years back that said Xbox gamers were better in bed than their competitors.
Can't believe this wasn't dug up sooner! I think I'm going to read the longer interview, because this short snippet wasn't enough for my curiosity.
Definitely one of my all-time favorite games, which I still have the cartridge and box to.
Yes and no, like the author points out. Crooked publishers are definitely a problem, but that's how it goes when an industry grows into the billions.
You have to expect greed to come in somewhere to twist the minds of people, no matter the medium, but a journalist should keep their integrity by keeping their credibility.
I know well that a website needs money to function, but there are other means, especially nowadays, and the community likes a straight shooter. Always h...
"They care very much about the creative process – they care about that – so they want you to be successful, and they will do whatever they can to help you be successful." So, digital content push and microtransactions then?
Well, I wouldn't think they would force you to use their engine, but considering his status I wouldn't take his word either, sadly.
I can't help but see this as spin considering his position and his timely leaving announ...
I think it's more fair to say that every console is a poster child for how gaming is done in their respective camps.
So let's not target one party here, nor think that Nintendo fans are the only ones that defend their system choice.
The 4th and 3rd Playstation eras I can understand your argument, but the best were the 1st or 2nd. To each their own, though.
I can see where you're coming from, and although their basic principles are the same they're offering different experiences. One shows you the action, bringing you into the same room if it's any good, and the other invites you to join in, because you are the protagonist/antagonist. So because of this, I respectfully think I'll keep neutral on the subject, as both do what they do well.
As the evolution of entertainment of books evolved into film, whose to sa...
You bring up some interesting things. I do agree that Microsoft having the backwards compatibility feature is a welcome one, as is the feature a great one to have for any system whether a player uses it or not.
I agree with you that implementing a way to play thousands of PC titles - though a tedious and borderline impossible task - would be a great idea, and one helluva ace, in my opinion.
Admittedly, if Microsoft did this next level BC and didn't make it th...
