Oh, those people. I think the internet, or at least reddit, should do nicely with conveying the message about Konami's jacket problem. Definitely can't save them all, but if Konami's self-hug body warmer goes missing then I'll speak up.
Uh-oh. Account or not, I still see this going south for a company players don't agree with. I truly hope to be proven wrong and players keep the review toward the game - not the company.
Just don't buy them, or the game, and it will be okay. Konami's straitjacket is just on too tight again.
I'm pretty confident we all have our own reasons to hate them. *cough* NES classic *cough*
The one thing to remember is to never feed the scalpers, because it's that rewarding moment when that surplus of what we wanted arrives that makes their prices drop to what it was to begin with that brings a smile to my face. See, not only does it help the ecosystem, but it improves your mood too.
I suppose I'm a dinosaur since I'm just a few years before you. Oh well. Although I didn't get a PC until later down the line, I still used one in moderation, but probably not more so than you since you owned one in the time period. I think it was the television with the hooked up NES that grabbed my attention, along with my Gameboy (we both have good taste), and every console after that that would wreak havoc on my eyes. But in your defense, my eyes could have been dealt a bad ha...
It wasn't a hate... it was more like nothing could follow the high that was the second game. The title was doomed to fail from the get-go, because the buildup was on another level, but it wasn't a bad outing if one looks at it level-headed, though still the lesser of the trilogy.
Side note: I didn't, and still don't, like Kiddy Kong. He just didn't have anything special about him.
Well put. You actually hit a lot of things right, in my opinion. And because this is the internet I have thoughts (even though I agree with the majority of what was said).
Games by default can teach us about languages and grammar (for the most part), maps, music (an entire generation was introduced to Beethoven in the original Resident Evil), and improve your hand-eye coordination.
The bonuses would be the ability to show your strengths, if given the opportunity, ...
A PS5 launch title most likely, if not coming in at the last moment of the current generation.
I am sure whatever they do it will be interesting, and most likely third-person, but given Sony's push on VR I wouldn't rule it out either.
To be honest, I didn't find it all that different than any other "good" reveal. In my opinion, the better event was Sony's E3 where they made a more memorable moment because of the competition's sudden stumble, which for me, hearkened back to their early days with the "price heard around the world."
The title is shaping up nicely, and though I remain intrigued, the heat is still on Experiment 101 to deliver on their first game. Hopefully this brings out the best in them and their work.
It's cool we all make misunderstandings, like that time I thought it was okay to park my car on a dock while I shopped.
Cute Interpol officer or not that was rude. At least I had full coverage and the peace of mind not to ask thigh master why she destroyed it.
Looks pretty stellar, but until the figures have a button that plays loud-mouth obscenities in a eight-year-old's voice, tells you how they slept with your mother, or randomly moans/grunts or plays fuzzy radio music then it's not fully realistic.
Whether it is a Star Wars game or not, quotes like: "aims to redefine action games and bring the highest quality innovative experiences to players" makes it already feel like a lie judging from their poor reputation over the past decade.
I would love to have faith in EA (aka Purchase Everything), but they are one of the few that's guilty until proven innocent in my book.
In fact, we should all make a bingo card on the cringe now and make boxes for microtransact...
Happy VD day.
Victims, aren't we all?
I sincerely hope this is the start of a fun tease campaign as it has been far too long, not to mention I was under the assumption that Valve had a number phobia of three. Either way, I'll keep my hype low just in case it is the makings of a hype goblin.
Microtransactions are never going away because sadly the door is too wide open now, but we can always prevent how much breeze comes through.
Not an inherently evil thing, microtransactions, and though I'll never support them I do believe if we are to continue to have them it should be used with the utmost care, as the author points out.
The best course of action will continue to be speaking up when not just EA, but any developer, tries to strong-arm the community with it...
Time for a series sit down starting with Zero.
This was a great entry for the Splinter Cell franchise, and although some dislike it, I liked it for what it brought to the table.
"Make dinosaurs extinct. Again!" Again.
