Makes sense...After how popular Demon's Souls became, Namco Bandai signed them to a three game deal, hence Dark Souls 1-3. Now that they are contractually free from working on the Dark Souls IP, I would bet they are working on Bloodborne 2 releasing in February/March 2018 and hopefully Demon's Souls 2. I personally prefer the atmosphere of Demon's Souls over Dark Souls and I'm drooling for the inevitable sequel. Anyway, my point here is they are definitely working on exclusive...
I too enjoyed Ryse. I thought it was a great launch title that like The Order: 1886, was held to some kind of alternate review scale. I saw 5/10 scores for both games which was so wrong. Just poor reviews by deranged "game journalists" with some twisted fanboy agenda. Anyway, I digress. If Scorpio launches with game like Gears of War 4, Quantum Break and a new Ryse running 1080/60fps I may just dive in day one. However, if the console is more than $500 at launch I think I will end u...
Agreed. Battlefield 1 and Modern Warfare Remastered on PS4 Pro are my two favorite shooters right now. I find myself playing Titanfall 2 less and less, though it's a great game for what it offers. I'm just tired of the wall running and super jumping in FPS. I have high hopes for this game with Sledgehammer at the helm.
Xbox Scorpio will launch at $499 guaranteed
Zelda Breath of the Wild is an amazing game. I'm about ten hours in on Switch roughly and it's pretty easy to tell it's an instant classic...possibly the best Zelda game ever made. However, PlayStation 4 only owners need not worry as Nioh, Horizon Zero Dawn and Nier Automata are more than enough to compensate. Those are three very high quality games, specifically Nioh and Horizon....I can't say enough good things about those two games. And I win because I get to play them all...
Is this the same reviewer who gave Nioh a perfect 10?
You're in for a treat...however some gamers who have played the other games in the franchise say Demon's Sous feels too dated. I vehemently disagree with that assertion and for me personally, Demon's Souls has the best atmosphere in the entire franchise. It's like a nightmare fairly tale. It also has some of the best levels (poison swamp) and some of the coolest weapons with the Blue Blood sword and Meat Cleaver. Just a tip...watch out for the Black Phantom lurking in the swam...
Damn it Sony....why couldn't you just remaster this for the Pro at 1080/60fps?? If there ever was a game that deserved it. Demon's Souls and Dark Souls 1 are the two games from last generation that I would pay double to play remastered on my Pro. On topic, just buy a used PS3 with Demon's Souls for $120 or whatever it cost and play it properly...it's worth it. Plus the online is still going strong.
@ Sampson, Yea but they are supposed to try and be objective. Otherwise, what's the point? If this reviewer went in with pre-conceived notions of what the game should be and already doesn't like it, they are not being objective and are doing a disservice to consumers who are looking to reviews to get a good idea of what to expect overall in terms of quality. That's like telling me to review an episode of Teen Mom OG.....I'm not going to give it a good score no matter what beca...

Yup, just like the Nioh petition lol. It's obvious PC gamers have superior hardware, but man are they desperate for some AAA Exclusives. At the end of the day, it's all about the games, not the specs. These PC peasants have no exclusive games like Nioh, Horion Zero Dawn or Zelda Breath of the Wild so they have to pull these stunts. Yet they claim superiority, oh the irony lol.
There are parts I like, but many more that I just felt were a drag. Compared to Uncharted 2, Uncharted 4 is a letdown. Uncharted 2 nailed everything, set pieces, characters, pacing, dialogue, twists, ending, graphics, audio, gunplay,puzzles....everything was perfect. I can't see how someone can objectively look at Uncharted 4 and say it's better than Uncharted 2. And like I said, I even enjoyed the original Uncharted more than Uncharted 4, it's missing that "fun factor"...
That's not true. Go to amazon and read some of the customer reviews that rated the game a 3/5. Most share the same exact points of criticism. And I'm not talking about the one star troll reviews. Plenty long time fans had issues with the pacing as well.
Nintendo has some of the best IP's in the gaming industry. Their hardware is justified by Zelda and Mario alone. I don't understand the disrespect either.
Don't get too excited. It's still choppy.
This definitely looks good for an indie game but I seriously doubt it can touch the epicness of Zelda Breath of the Wild. That game is a masterpiece, and this is coming from a huge PS4 Pro/Sony fanboy.
Hopefully it doesn't have the terrible pacing that Uncharted 4 had. That was the biggest letdown for me this entire gen probably. A lot of people loved it, I thought it lacked set pieces that the series is known for, there wasn't nearly enough gun battles/action sequences, there was entirely too much platforming that wasn't fun, there were forced sections like the flashback chapters with Nates brother when both were younger, those were a major chore for me personally. I found noth...
For me it will be Mario Kart 8 Deluxe at the end of April, then probably nothing until Super Mario Odyssey at the end of December. Luckily I have the Pro and Xbone also so I'm more than fine in terms of game variety. I bought the Switch primarily for Nintendo IPs and that's it. I can get anything else I need on the Pro or Xbone in terms of shooters and big AAA action games like Horizon Zero Dawn/Gears of War 4. I have no allegiance to one company. If I see a game that I absolutely can...
Ummm I don't believe Xbone was ever sold out at launch or any other time in it's lifecycle. You're wrong.
Of course it is, but just like anything else it comes down to the individual. Some people are just more prone to addiction than others. The difference from being an addict to just someone with a hobby is having the ability to balance work/school, social activities and just life in general with said hobby. You simply can't let it consume you and take over your life. And for the record, gaming is not addicting like something like cocaine or heroin as their is no physical withdrawal where yo...
