That would be awesome!
I think Activision is also a supporter. I think I'll be really surprised if the next COD doesn't come out on Wii U.
@chitowndoc
Except it will, it is getting all of Ubisoft's big games, and Nintendo isn't going to not make first party titles.
If the Wii U doesn't sell in spite of:
Watch Dogs
Assassin's Creed IV
Splinter Cell Black List
Xenoblade 2
3D Mario
Bayonetta 2
Super Smash Bros.
Mario Kart
or any other number of titles, then the Wii U is a flop.
The Vita is a different s...
You really articulated something that I've wasn't quite sure how to. Well done.
Agreed. Through down the fanboyism and play some games!
It can't be helped. This is a Sony fanboy site. Or more accurately, N4G is an anti-Nintendo community.
Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes or any of the Mass Effect games.
Nice read.
I really hope that I will be able to play my PS3 games on my PS4 using some kind of Gaikai functionality without having to rebuy them. Hopefully there will be a function where it will detect the disc you have ,and then you will be able to stream for free. I have a lot of games that I imported, and I would really like to play those imported versions with Gaikai. That will really make a difference for me in my decision to buy a PS4 sooner rather than later.
Can't call a system failing until it actually starts releasing more games, and those games, and more systems don't sell.
That said....
Does anyone even remember the PS3's and the 3DS's early life at all here? Or do people really just like to conveniently forget these things? I remember even at one point Sony saying that their would not make a PS4 since they lost $4.7 billion on the PS3. And yet look at them today.
If push comes to shov...
It's not Nintendo's fault. It's all EA trying to kill Nintendo because they are butthurt about Origin. EA is trying to kill Nintendo the same way they helped kill SEGA, the difference is, that Nintendo isn't quite as easy to take down as SEGA was when it was in the state that it was at the time.
3rd party companies really need to try to build relationships with Nintendo(and vice versa) and work together to create a mutually beneficial business environment.
Thanks for the heads up.
Are we now incapable of waiting for evidence before forming opinions? We need to be scientists about our opinions, not theists.
Random aside, I was really glad they added folders in the last update!
Even though there were performance issues, the game was amazing on Wii U. All of the broadcasts and radio communication went strait to the controller, and the hacking was done using the display. The inventory was easy to work with, and the map being always on made it so I never had to go into a menu and wait. Batman on Wii U was amazing despite the performance issues. So, I am really looking forward to Origins on Wii U since it'll actually be ground up built for the system instead of an u...
It's not faith. EA is pulling all support because they have been trying to take Nintendo down since the Origin deal broke down. EA wanted all of Nintendo's networks to run through Origin, and Nintendo said no. After all, PC gamers already know Origin is terrible compared to Steam, and everything run through Origin creates a conflict of interest for competing 3rd parties where EA would get a percentage of all third party sales. That plus Nintendo would have to trust EA with a lot of th...
Real reason is very simple.
EA won't let them develop Frostbite 2 or 3 for Wii U.
EA is still very angry at Nintendo. They need to make up with Nintendo if they care about money. Afterall, even if a Wii U version of a multi-million seller sells only 100,000 on Wii U, that still translates to millions of dollars in sales. To ignore that audience no matter how small translates to sales lost. Profit no matter how comparatively minute, should be pursued.
@admiralvic
Wasn't Jack actually in that game too?
Still, it'd be nice to have a real sequel instead of a spinoff.
I really hope they release that here too!
I think one of the reasons there is so much hate directed at Nintendo these days is because it has always been popular to hate on the best.
Nintendo has consistently delivered stellar experiences year in and year out for 30 years, and have done so in so many genres.
