It's not a flop until it actually has software and then it still doesn't sell. We have yet to see any of the big first party titles release.

The anger towards the game really made me angry because I thought it was a good game too, and it was a shame to see the game's sales suffer because of that anger.
Who knows. Platinum Games have already done a lot on Nintendo consoles, so possibly. I personally am really hoping for a Madworld 2. The first one kind of left it open for a sequel.

I'm getting a PS4 for exclusives and the back catalog of awesome Sony titles; however, assuming they are not lazy ports, I think for me the Wii U versions of games would be the best. Haters gonna' hate, but Wii U owners know how much of a difference that second screen makes when used well. I think Shadow of the Colossus is still the best looking game of this generation. From an artistic standpoint, it's really hard to beat.

Except MGS2 substance was also on xbox and PC, and MGS3 showed up on the 3DS. Also the whole HD collection is also now on the 360.
You know there is a difference between perceived dominance and actual dominance. Microsoft and Sony have lost a lot of money every year until last year, Nintendo has been profitable to highly profitable every year in its existence save for one. Nintendo is still the most profitable and actually dominant games company in the world.
That depends on whether or not Xbox will go free for online play or Sony decides to make online play a pay service. When friends get together to debate one system or another, that could be a major factor.

It can definitely compete in the graphics department with both of those consoles, it just isn't as powerful. At least with Wii U pretty much all of it's power goes to one purpose.

That said, if people don't consider Wii U next gen, then you can't consider PS4 next gen either since both a way behind my current PC in terms of raw power.
