It's pretty naive to believe that the Wii U will be anything less than a lot more powerful than current gen consoles. As powerful as Microsoft and Sony's next offerings.... probably not. But I don't think that that the gap will be as big as so many people are expecting.
You mean like how the wii and ds was crushed?
Fragile is one of my all time faves. I bought when I was in Japan a few years ago. Beat it. Then bought the NA release, and beat it again. Such an under appreciated gem!
Why is this guy such a Nintendo troll?
Your argument about people wanting to believe that the specs being higher than they are work the other way too. There are also countless "gamers" that speculate on the hardware because they want to believe the hardware is under snuff. These are launch titles we're talking about. The power 7 CPU is a pretty new architecture and can take a lot of heat off of the GPU, but it's going to take a while for developers to get the hang of it. I really wish people would stop wasting th...
Somehow I feel Microsoft is more going in this direction... They rely on mostly multiplats anyway... not a bad thing though, just an observation. Most of the multiplats I just get on PC anyway...
It's kind of funny, especially considering that the game is super small compared to Xenoblade which is about the size of California.
Agreed. Also competition from Sony helps keep Nintendo on it's toes.
3ds has been out longer and Vita still has room to grow.
Probably a good move. I already have the game for PC.
The only truly scary games I've played this gen have been Fatal Frame 4 and Night of the Sacrifice(Ikenie no yoru).
Agree. I could hardly care it's a rip off. It's looks fun to me!
It's kind of different though. Most "gamers " are just dismissive about all things Nintendo. It's very frustrating.
Sometimes I think Nintendo just hates making money. Seriously, this would sell like crazy among the Zelda hardcore. I'm so glad I could see the concert live by the way~
Who cares how many terrible games a system has. While some people might knock a system entirely for having so much shovel ware, I wouldn't because both of those systems have amazing games too.
It's just a screen with a receiver. It's not an actual separate device.
They didn't back off the core gamer, they just widened their focus. On the Wii we got 1.5 Zelda games(Because one was a gamecube port), 2 real Mario games, 2 Metroid games, 2 Kirby games, Super Smash Bros., New Super Mario Bros, and a Donkey Kong Country game. Not to mention Xenoblade, Last Story, Fatal Frame 2 remake and Fatal Frame 4(Though not released here). Obviously the casual stuff got most of the press, but Nintendo gave us a lot of great core games this generation.
If you're not a fan of lo tech then you should stop playing technologically static consoles. Also if you don't like Mario, you must have forgotten how to have fun.
Want Son Goku!!!!
I think you might be confusing reatil units with SDKs which have more memory for developers to work with.
