A little off topic here, but, does anyone remember the Titans expansion for Age of Mythology? I think that's the only expansion to ever make a game worse! The Atlantians totally upset the balance of the game.

While I don't know if the game does actually run at 1080p, I don't think it will, I don't know why people disagreed with you. You simply stated a fact. GPUs are what allow for higher resolutions, not RAM.

Very true. 1080p and native 1080p, are 2 very different things. If it wasn't then apparently all of my Xbox 360 games are 1080p! lol
Really excellent read, I am only saddened by the fact that many of the issues the author has addressed will likely be ignored by the very type he speaks of.
Platinum games is one of my favorite developers. Sadly their games, while they do sell decently, never sell well enough to be very noteworthy.

@new monday. I still can't believe that people disregard the Wii U as a next gen platform. I guess then we could infer that when the PS2 was out last generation, that it was in fact 2 generations behind. Because compared to the Gamecube and the Xbox, the hardware was laughable. Yet it still held its' own. I do not believe you will actually look into the architecture of Nintendo's new system to find out out just how much more powerful the thing is when compared to current gen offer...
Proof of fanboyism at its' finest. The level of hate for Nintendo is so strong, that an entry to a beloved franchise shall not sway them to a new console, but shall instead drive them to hate the developers who create the game. "Gamers" need to stop feeling so entitled and "buck up" as it were. All systems have, and future systems will have unique and excellent content.

I love Mario games, but I think they need to slow down a little or they will over saturate their market.

It's published by Nintendo. They own the publishing rights. Nintendo is paying the devs. It can't come out on any other system.
Another example is.... Mass Effect. The first game will sadly never be released on PS3.
They should really just be happy that it's coming out now! SEGA CANCELLED it! Nintendo picked it up again.
Actually, I think you'll find that most Nintendo gamers are pretty well rounded. Fanboys exist, yes. However, it is somewhat of a rarity compared to the other consoles. I love Nintendo, but of course I also own an xbox 360 and a PS3. The first Bayonetta was awesome, I have it for the 360, and now that the new one is coming out on the Wii U, which I've just pre ordered, I'm really happy about that. I think that my point is, that people need to follow the games, not the systems. If ...
Hopefully if this requires a system update, Waninkoko or somebody releases a modified version for those of us who modded their Wiis.
