This rumor is really shooting in the dark. However, if indeed this comes to be, I'd eat it up. I looooooove Zelda!!!! I've really been meaning to replay Windwaker. This would be an excellent excuse.
Take my money now! Why aren't you taking my money!!!!
Which diehards?
Final Fantasy used to be a Nintendo exclusive. Then a Sony exclusive, the multiplat. Now it's multiplat again. The way I see it... the more gamers that can enjoy a game, the better!
Well, I wouldn't pay that much for a console. I'd rather invest it in a better gaming PC. When there are multiplats that come out on PC, I almost exclusively buy PC versions.
Consoles have to have more mass market appeal in the pricing department in order to be successful.
Motion plus all the way. Besides. Aonuma has already stated that is how the series will be continued. Can't wait to play another like Skyward Sword. I love that game sooo much!
I think the author's idea of using the motion controllers, but having the Wii U tablet for a map sounds like the best idea though. Best of both worlds.
Epic is also saying that microsoft and sony's next outing might not hit the mark either. Meaning... Epic needs to take a step back and realize that consoles aren't PCs. And no one wants to buy a $700-$1000 console.
I'm sorry, but I have no doubt that Sony too will have a great showing!
Can't wait to see Nintendo and Sony's conferences!
The PS1/2/3 controllers are nearly identical.
The PS1 is essentially a super nintendo controller but with two extra shoulder buttons. The analog sticks were added once Sony realized Nintedo was on to something. Dual analogs though, I believe goes to Sony. And that is a major contribution. Though the analog shoulder buttons on the PS3 are a result of Nintendo's innovative Gamecube controller.
The design has not become anymore ergonomic, nor has it really even changed shape....
I really can't imagine going back after Skyward Sword. Wow.
Taking credit for, and allowing others to contribute doesn't count as contributing yourself. Just sayin'.
Well said. Bubbles for you good sir.
You say that, but most gamers have already made up there mind about something before they have even tried it. Too many gamers say they'll try something, but in the back of their mind, they have already made their decision so they won't like it.
Any gamer that actually played the some of the Wii games that /actually/ used motion control can tell you this. However, most hated on it simply because it wasn't a traditional control scheme, and claimed that traditional ...
Very resistant to change.
There's no need to change the way we do things in 'Merica. 'Cause this is 'Merica! There aint nothing better that what we have! And if it aint broken don't fix it! Don't ever change or improve nuthin' not ever!(Spoken in a Texan accent)
This is the voice I imagine when I think of how so many gamers don't like to give anything new a chance. Heck people made fun of the NES in '85 because the thing had a D-Pa...
Well, in 2012, the Wii is definitely catatonic. As Xenoblade released, and Last Story will be coming out as well. But yeah. Pretty much dead.
The article is right though. Nintendo never let the core gamer down. It was third party devs that didn't make enough core content for the system.
The article is about how Nintendo didn't let the core market down.
Very true about the street pass thing in Japan. I was in Japan for about 2 months last summer and I would get 30 a day if I actually used the miis so I could get some more.
I still haven't seen the end. I feel like if I actually watch it, then Stargate will in my mind be over forever. There doesn't seem to be anything new on the horizon.
I'm proud to say I actually played the pre-alpha build of this game at E3 back in 2004 or 2005. I really can't remember which year it was. But I was really looking forward to the game. The cutscenes showed off what seemed like would have been an amazing story. I was also really looking forward to playing the game co op with my friends! Truly truly sad.
Troll much?
If you're really a gamer you wouldn't be so dismissive. Every console has something to offer. Which is why, I've always owned every console.
Well Wii is . But the Wii U isn't. Also doesn't make the game Widescreen.
