How does a story that takes place 5 years before HL2 set you up for HL3? I haven't watched or played Alyx so I'm not aware of the story's outcome but I know the timeline. All I heard was they hinted to HL3 in the game and had some fan service in the game.

Poor example considering thats the second game that developer (Vatra games) had ever made. One example of failure doesn't mean this isn't possible. Im talking about handing over the reigns to an actual reputable developer or publisher that didn't exist for only 3 years just to shutdown because the game was crap.

Honestly they could just do what Disney is doing with Star Wars with going to multiple other publishers/devs to make a game for them but still collect royalties by still owning the IP.

At the end of the demo she comes through the big double doors and is as tall as the door frame with those perspectives being shown and in another trailer they show her bending over like she's touching her toes just to fit through an interior door. She's definitely not "less than 7' easily". Or they have special 4' tall doors just for the hell of it.

Its a timed exclusive.... so PS5 will have it eventually.

That streaming tech still needs work on all systems regardless of the hardware its being run on. Yeah, it runs much better on PC but there is still much more room for improvement on an entirely new streaming tech they implemented in this game.
No, they just need to improve their streaming technology. They made a completely new streaming system for this game and it still needs a lot of work. This doesn't require a complete overhaul of their engine when thats already been done. They even stated the streaming tech they use is one of the main culprits behind the games performance problems on PS4 and XBO.
the price wouldn't have changed for you if you were already on the current plan. as long as your payments don't lapse you would have been fine.

If you already have PS+ with a PS4 you can claim it for free next week on the store online even without owning a PS5 so it will be there if/when you get a PS5.
