Basically Every PixelJunk game from the PS3 era and beyond is totally worth playing! PixelJunk Shooter 1 and 2 are by far my favorite games out of the list.
This would make the most sense. Bf4, BF1, and BFV all had their share of substantial launch issues. Better to be safe and have all hands on deck to reduce those launch problems.
It's a small separate team that's making the Yuffie DLC so this shouldn't delay part 2 development
It's exclusive to the PS5 upgrade. But isn't included.
This was a great decision by Sony. This game might live much longer at this price on top of them improving the game!
"It doesn’t use GPU horsepower when not rendering but it still uses memory and some CPU cycles"
A resolution bump wouldn't increase memory or cpu cycle use iself the UI isn't any different aside from 4k. Lol
I don't personally care if it has it or not either but your statement is not correct.
"Isn't that a waste of resources that the game could be utilizing?"
It's not waisting resources when it's rendering the game on the screen. If it's not seen, then it's not being rendered.

"I was committing on your praise of GT5 and 6 which have the worst ratings of the entire series."
Where in my comment did I praise the games? I don't see it. You clearly missed the point of my comment based off of the comment Nodoze posted.
I hope everyone learned to never buy a looter shooter from EA.
Im so glad I only played this through EA Play or id be one upset fella.
@itsmebryan
What does your opinion have anything to do with the point I was getting across with Nodoze?
Lost faith in a platform over one game.... Good for you dude.
That audio issue isn't present in GTSport BTW and sounds on par with Forza minus the overly aggressive exhaust notes. It's a shame you missed out.
"going wired allows them to harness the power of the PS5 instead of being limited to some kind of mobile processor that the Quests have, it also means never worrying about battery life."
Yeah I was bringing up those points too while replying to some other people on this thread.
For it being a $300 add on accessory, 5 million sold is no slouch considering its the best selling VR headset on the market. VR is still in its infancy stage.... At most it's in the toddler stage right now. VR isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
Normally when you release a GAAS you continue to support the game over time just like they have. It kinda defeats the whole purpose of making a GAAS if you release a new title 2 years later. 🤦🏻♂️
"They have been coasting for the last 2 console generations."
They made GT5 Prologue, GT5, and GT6 during the PS3 gen. I would't call that coasting for 2 generations. 😂
Just because MS has been releasing a...
Since when? I remember him not liking Sony in the early PS3 days when Sony was arrogant but he came around with the release of Portal 2 being the best console version available.
Is there more info I am missing that is more recent? If thats the case, could you share it?
And whats this talk about Gears of War? Microsoft owns the rights to that IP, not Epic. They just happened to be the original developers of the first 3.
Im hoping they give us a closer look at some more Returnal gameplay!
@Tiqila
"Nah, that's not true regarding cost"
Oculus quest is $300-$400 depending on what storage size you want. either 64GB or 256GB. So if you really want to be truly wireless, you better be paying for the 256GB model which is the same cost of a digital PS5! If Sony wants to do this right they will need to stay at the $300 price range including controllers. Sure it could be possible to keep the price down but I'm sure Sony is trying to profit of...
Considering it will be a USB-C cable, it shouldn't be a concern regardless. You could buy a long enough cable to where it doesn't even matter and hook some of the slack from the ceiling above you so you don't trip. I doubt Sony is going to make some proprietary connection on the headset that keeps you from being able to buy 3rd party cables.
"I guess I'm spoiled with the wireless Oculus quest"
With that 72Hz max refresh rate lol... unless you have the quest 2. It's also still limited by its mobile hardware which limits the amount of detail these games can achieve. Id rather compromise wireless if it means more graphically detailed immersive experiences. But wireless adapters could still be an option for PSVR2.
Even if the Quest was the best option out there, I'm not supp...
It's a matter of your eyes adjusting to it. Hopping between the two will be the most jarring way to compare the two. But if you were to play something at 60fps and not touch it for weeks and go back into it at 30 fps, it wont be as noticeably bad. It's a huge difference in feel but 30fps is still a perfectly fine frame rate for some games.
CP2077 is a good example. Game started out at 60FPS for me but once outside in the city the FPS tanked to about 40-45. It initi...
