They said in the PS Blog it's one wire now. Not wireless and thats a good thing for now. Its going to use the USB-C port in the front.
Wireless will just up the cost of the headset and I'm not about that. If anything, just make that an add on choice for people who want it to be wireless. Theres still too many factors that could cause interference with wireless signals causing lag or interruptions in the gameplay creating jarring experiences in the headset and could ...

"Wasn't that the same to what they did with PSVR? I think they also announced it almost 2 years in advance."
Looks like you are correct. they announced Project Morpheus in march of 2014 and it launched in October of 2016. For some reason I feel like they announced it much later in 2014 but I am wrong. This timing is very similar to the OG PSVR so if anything we should expect it to launch in late 2022-2023. Fingers crossed for 2022.

Thats because they just did. ;)
I knew that USB-C port on the front was meant for more than just faster external storage speeds! I'm so glad they went that route instead of wireless to keep costs down. Hopefully they can keep the cost around the price of the oculus headsets.
Im just surprised that are already talking about it. Before launch they made it sound like we wouldn't hear anything for at least a year or two from launch.
This post was edited. Originally was titled as if Sony was going to censor games entirely. First the post was only centered around the dualshockers article and now it's been edited to be centered around the translated site that dualshockers spun the narrative on for clicks.
And this is why I find the game for sale on offer up or facebook marketplace for 40-45 bucks if I don't want the game immediately.
No it's still running in BC. Just optimized.
Dude.... It was clearly an issue with the patch. Care to show facts on how the game didn't have this issue before they released the optimized patch? All the graphical features were there prior to this.
Heres a video posted back in November running in BC mode without the graphical features missing.

"Why wouldn't they just push it back if it was unintended?"
Because it wasn't a gamebreaking bug? This shits not a conspiracy you need to decrypt. 😂 What in the world would they gain by making themselves look bad with their BC patch on one of the consoles? Should this make the XSX look better so people will buy it instead of the PS5? They chose the wrong game to bother doing that. 🤣
Heres a fun fact I just wanted to let you know. "RTX" is Nvidia's branding for their ray tracing GPUs. If you are just talking about ray tracing in general you can just use "RT".
It wasn't gamebreaking. they probably knew the issue was there but needed a little time to fix it but didn't want to delay the patch since it wasn't gamebreaking.
This is the first game I noticed the issue as well just like CobraKai. Im going to do some more testing to see if it is just the controller or if its the game. I haven't used the controller or the game since it has happened.
Thats interesting because this was the first game that I noticed controller drift on. Maybe it is related to the game and not the controller for us? Ill have to test it out with other games. Ive just been using my second controller since i noticed that. It wasn't Drifting in one direction... its as if the stick was twitching and also some drifting in multiple directions.
I believe 2K owns the IP considering they didn't make the sequel so the odds are slim sadly on top of the fact that the sequel didn't sell very well and the art style and tone was completely different.
They need to piss off with the Payday franchise. The first game really disappointed me and the second one was just a spit shine of the first one with a bit more depth but still played terribly IMO. The Darkness and Syndicate are the only two other games I've played from them and actually enjoyed.
Thats good ol' Phil Harrison for ya!
Yeah sure, keep dismissing a game that hasn't released yet because it doesn't meet your nostalgia needs. 🙄
"I really hope that Sony find a way to have the PSVR function like the Quest 2 meaning wireless for mores simple games."
Or, they could just sell a wireless adapter option or something. That would be the most cost effective option rather than having a headset with its own internal hardware to render the games which would also require a battery to power it bringing the cost up beyond what they are most likely wanting to target.
Plus I'd pers...
