Interesting to see the drops. Ive played this game for a few hours the last 2 days and I never notice these frame drops.

You don't really need the camera to be controlled by you. Theres a minimap in the bottom right corner you can use to locate people behind you. Since the UI is set to small by default, I didn't even know it existed until I went into the settings to adjust it and make it bigger.
There are 2 game modes that are 8v8. Carnado and Stockpile. The other 2, Mayhem and Gridfall are free for all. You can hop on your teammates cars for a taxi ride for a set amount of time.
Car skin customization is linked to the characters skin customization from what i saw when fumbling around the menus last night. Skins, profile avatars, profile banners, and emotes seem to be the only customization options currently.
That has been fixed since the last update or two from what I've heard and from what I experienced. This is different issue in regards to installing a PS4 game with the disk.

Im sure you wont notice those 5-8 fps dips. But a patch could easily fix that.
Those dips wont even be noticeable but I'm sure this can easily be optimized if need be.
Days Gone also lost half its file size with the PS5 patch from what I've heard but I cant confirm that right now since I'm at work.
Do you have any theories as to what else it could be? This is basically common sense and Mark Cerny (the source) even explained these benefits with the compression technology around this time last year when they did the road to PS5 video and you would understand if you watch that. So why else do you think the storage size is reduced? Because it's definitely not due to cut content or anything like that.

That compression technology is starting to show its benefits. Destruction all stars is also just shy of 30 Gb which I think is pretty decent.
This definitely was a great decision to launch it with PS+. Like they said in the article. "40 Million PS+ Subs can really help with this game taking off."
Of course you have to take into account that only PS+ Members with a PS5 can enjoy the game but hopefully all the PS4 owners with the subscription at least claim the game so they can enjoy it when they manage to get a PS5 and this game could be very successful if the game is actually fun!

I think they should have started with how it will be now. No studios under their belt until the service grows so they can afford to pay for the studios they want. This is just another overpromised service from Phil Harrison just like PS Home was. Theres a reason he keeps bouncing around to every gaming company. I think Phil will be out of the picture in the next year or two.
