Zombie Who?
Zombie U!
The demo they showed in private was running on a single GTX 680.
The problem with open world racers is that it tends to create a lot less variation in the tracks, instead of heaving tailor-made race courses that are all unique and have different locales. The races in open world games are always a lot less fun to me than the races in ones that use courses. Plus, you always have to drive to the races, which is cool at first when you're first exploring the city, but it gets a bit tedious when you've seen the same locations 1000 times already.

OKAY
There have been multiple tests done on RAM speed, and in gaming the difference is minimal. As in, not even a 1fps difference, minimal. Even stress tests show a similar marginal difference.
High amounts of RAM hinder performance? What? The test below was done with 1600MHz RAM for each category, so the speed is the same.

There was a really long post about the private UE4 demonstration. UE4's main goal is ease of development, while pushing graphics to a whole new level. They went into detail about how they've made development even easier than UE3 in many places.
The tech demo shown to the small group (public will see it in June) was also running on a single GTX 680. Apparently the people in the room were stunned because it was being played in first person right there instead of the usu...

It's been on iOS (and I think Android too) for a couple of years now. Infinity Blade 2 has amazing graphics, even compared with the 3DS and Vita.
I don't think Burnout Paradise is actually thay big, unless having cars made it feel significantly smaller. You can drive from one side of the island to the other in about 5 minutes. I can't even do that in San Andreas, which according to that map, is significantly smaller.
One of my problems with Burnout Paraside was that the world felt too small and you're constantly racing in the same areas.
I bought it on launch day JUST for the MGS2 demo that came with it. The game actually being pretty good was the icing on the cake. ZOE2 is even better.
I have the EXACT same setup, and I don't get what you're experiencing. It might be double-buffered V-sync switching to 30fps every time it goes a single frame under 60fps, in which case, just force triple-buffering through D3DOverrider or turn V-sync off.
Valve said last year that they were done with episodic content.
It's also expected to be an MMO. I don't know how Activision expects an exclusive MMO to sell more than 5 million in 6 months. Most multiplatform games don't even sell that much, and MMOs don't tend to do well on consoles. The only saving grace is that it's developed by Bungie.
Also in the contract, Bungie gets a 1.5 million dollar bonus only if the game gets a higher average than 90 on Gamerankings... explains the inflation of review scores. If developers are paid bonuses based on review scores, no wonder this has happened.
Bungie also getsa 2.5 million dollar bonus only if the game gets a higher average than 90 on Gamerankings... explains the inflation of review scores. If developers are paid bonuses based on review scores, no wonder this has happened. It also encourages review-bribing, since a developer could pay off reviewers knowing that they'll get a huge bonus with high review scores.
Activision can also terminate the contract if Destiny doesn't sell more than 5 million within the...
I think Epic and other major devs are in the know about the next console's specs. The Eidos job posting for the next Deus Ex said it was for next-gen consoles, and the game was to be released within 2 years. I don't think a major publisher would be hiring and planning development for a system which doesn't exist. I'm pretty sure they've been given the planned specs.
Suda51 - Killer7, No More Heroes, Shadows of the Damned. His games have pretty cool and unique gameplay ideas, humor, and tons of style.
Akita Yamoaka - Silent Hill 1-4 composer and sound director. His music is amazing. IMO Silent Hill 3 has one of the best soundtracks in gaming.
Yup, the mod's creator already stated that they'll work on an Arma 3 version of DayZ when it releases.
"the original killzone wasn't an FPS"
Uhh...
Anyways, they've already shown parts of the game that are Far Cry style, like the E3 demo. Far Cry 2 had scripted sections too. Every game has them. A 3 minute scripted segment doesn't mean the entire game is like that.
"Yes, my body was ready."
Yup, Reggie said it. Laughed sooo hard at that.
