As expected this advertisement has incited the fanboys (on both sides) to react in their typical contemptuous fashion.
I see no problem with MS touting their recent success as long as the sales numbers back up their claim. The "Best-Selling Console in America" byline is accurate at this present time so why are some people so "outraged" at this declaration?
When a newly released film is promoted in the media as "the number one movi...

"Xbox and its hardcore fans have such an inferiority complex"
Do you actually believe that a person's self-worth can be measured by their choice in video game consoles? Our society has fallen quite low when we assess another individual by the toys that they own. If Xbox fans are "inferior" then what does it say about someone like yourself who consistently derides others in order to feel superior?
The tr...
@LordMaim
In reference to the price point of the Scorpio Spencer said "the opening price point for the Xbox One S...you should expect the pricing (of the Scorpio) to kind of be in line with that."
@BlackTar187
He DID infer that the pricing will be inline with current consoles!
Did either of you read the whole article? If you did then where are you getting the idea that it will be $600?
It's interesting that you infer Spencer's statement is proof that the Scorpio will be priced at $600. Why did your mind immediately jump to to the worst case scenario?
You seem to be erroneously associating the Scorpio with the original PS3. The $600 price tag of the third Sony console was NOT an advantageous price point and was incongruous with other consoles of the era. I don't think that MS is in a position to make the same error that Sony did with the releas...

"it's ridiculous that they're trying to hype it up on a daily basis."
Yeah, it's just despicable that a company would choose to promote a product which they intend to sell to the public. /s

@Lennoxb63
I think that you'd be surprised at how quickly you would acclimate to a larger TV. I bought a 70" about 6 months ago. Initially, it looked enormous. Now, I keep thinking to myself "I should have got the 80".
It's you...or your device.
The image quality is spectacular on my 4K monitor.

Another new account? You really need to give it a rest for your own sake.
Your last N4G account called "Xboxfail" lasted all of ONE day before all of you trollish comment were marked as spam and you were reprimanded.
Seriously, how is it that you derive joy from posting inflammatory comments? Is your life so void of fulfillment that you have to resort to trolling video game sights for attention? I'm sad for you.

NOT "match".
@C0NFVZ3D
I think the water FX mesh quite well with the rest of the art style.
I don't know man, looks great to me.
@Xboxfail
You try too hard. Your N4G account is all of 10 minutes old and you've already posted 7 negative comments about Microsoft/Xbox.
Perhaps it's time to reassess your life.
Side note: "Xboxfail"...really? Grow up.
Edit: I noticed that you completely changed your original comment. Too late though, your entire comment history has been marked as "spam". LOL

Indigo Prohecy/Farhenheit is an 8 hour game.
Did you *coughplayittwelvetimescough* before you realized that you hated it?
@Lon3wolf
It's all good. Enjoy the game.
@Lon3wolf
Why do you find it odd that someone responded to you assertion? If you don't want people to reply to you comments then perhaps you shouldn't post them online.
I wasn't making any assumptions about your lifestyle. Although, I will admit that I find it interesting that you responded in such a defensive manner. I was simply expressing my amazement (and slight envy) at the fact that someone has that much time to dedicate to their hobby. ...
@Lon3wolf
If you purchased NMS on launch day then your 120 hours of play time would mean that you average about 5 hours per day! That estimation is assuming that you bought it on release day but the £40 price tag leads me to believe that you purchased it at later date, which would indicate that you play even more per day.
As Hoffman mentioned, where do you find the time (or the will) to play that much?
I'm lucky if I can sque...

"did you lot stop yarbie? No? Good, don't stop me then and fk off."
The "he started it first" rationalization is used by adolescents and those that are completely oblivious to their own lapses in judgement. I'm not surprised by your reliance on this tactic since I readily assumed that you're about 14 years old.
What I can't fathom is why are you always so angry? You're way too youn...
@BazingaReturns
In the comment section for an article on Gran Turismo Sport you were indignant that another N4G user said “This holiday belongs to Horizon 3”. Your response was “What does this article has to do with horizon 3? None gives a shit about that game here “. Now, here you in an article about the XBOX game Recore asserting that “ RnC shits all over this garbage”
I’ll ask you, what does the article have to do with RnC?

@Dark_Overlord
"remember who started this"
Don't you guys (fanboys) ever get tired of using the "they started it first" trope to excuse objectionable behavior? It has to be the most immature, short-sighted rationalization that I've ever heard. The only time that I encounter this phrase is when I'm reading online comments or I'm around my adolescent nieces & nephews.
The commercial does not mention "Best Selling" or any console sales data so why would they pull it?
