"Dead Space 2 had a great art style and the best performance:visuals ratio of any game I've ever played."
Just looking at the game, everything about the graphics is top notch. People usually name exclusives to brag about graphics (Uncharted, God of War, Gears of War, etc) but Dead Space belongs in the conversation with best looking games. The suit designs, the weapons, the holographic menus, etc...everything just looks clean and crisp.
I just re...
Arkham Asylum, Arkham County, Arkham City, Arkham State, Arkham Country, Arkham Continent, Arkham World, Arkham Solar System, Arkham Galaxy, Arkham Universe.
Yeah the main one I was thinking about was the One Shot. It would be nice to see some kind of explanation.
Raam's Shadow is a prequel to the first Gears of War, yet it contains weapons from Gears of War 3. Nice continuity, Epic Games!
Need more Vlad the Impaler Sword kills!
This review is a joke.
Why would he play this one without having first played at least one of the other AC games?
Everything is too dark? What? I didn't have a single problem. Maybe he should invest in a new TV or change his settings.
He didn't like the controls? Well that's because he tried to hold R1, X and use the right analog stick at once. X can be released while free running and it doesn't ruin the flow of things. Way to...
***SPOILERS***
My assumption is that the five keys were made my the gods (Minerva and Jupiter) possibly, just like the Apple of Eden (I think).
Altair gave the keys to Niccolo Polo (if I remember correctly) and he spread them all over Constantinople in the various tombs so that they wouldn't fall into the wrong hands.
I actually really like the Desmond character and how they're using him to tell the stories. Through each game, you lea...
I was kind of disappointed with Revelations, until I got to the ending. I absolutely loved the ending.
My problems with Revelations are the unnecessary additions to the game. Den defense isn't fun at all. It sucks even more that you're basically forced to do it. Why are you forced to do it? Because every time you renovate buildings, your awareness is raised. Oh I'll just go rip down my wanted poster. Oh wait, there are no wanted posters now, just the stupid Herald...
This article is awesome and hilarious.
I think you mean it isn't practical.
It really isn't practical though. We're nearing the end of this gen, so what sense does it make for IW/TreyArch/Activision to develop a new engine? CoD fans will buy it regardless.
Would it be nice for CoD to get a new engine? Absolutely it would, it just doesn't make sense to do it.
After the disc locked content with Gears 3, I'm done with Gears of War. At the very least, I won't buy a Gears game for full price.
You know, it's stuff like this that makes me HATE playing CoD MP.
I know it's just a game, but Call of Duty games try to portray some semblance of realism, and this completely goes against that.
First of all, people don't throw knives that far lol.
Secondly, why would a knife landing on someone's foot kill him???
Thirdly, knives thrown across the map, and ricocheting multiple times shouldn't have enough mo...
I think you just try to button mash.
For the most part, the controls are great. There's lots of stuff to climb and you move fairly quickly, so it's only natural for your character to go somewhere you don't want him to go.
The combat is awesome. I love the counter system and once you learn it, it makes chaining together combo kills very smooth and satisfying.
I'm only through the first sequence, but I'm loving the game so f...
"Ubisoft's ambitious conclusion to a four game narrative manages to be the best chapter in the Assassin's Creed franchise despite suffering from some familiar problems."
"Ubisoft's overall storytelling has reached new heights."
"That leap alone helps elevate Revelations above some of its predecessors. The game's visuals have likewise taken a step up, with characters and their expressions looking better than ever. Voice...
And of course this news post won't get much attention because Activision actually did something positive. Everyone just wants to hate on them for being a business and making money.
What about them?
Call of Duty 4: Modern warfare is STILL the best Call of Duty game to date.
I was playing the MP last night, and I had way more fun than I ever did playing any of the newer CoD games.
I love the balance and the simplicity of it.
The thing is, this was my second go-round with GameFly already. The last time I ended it, was because I couldn't get games I wanted.
I've already tried having one game in my Q, and they don't send it. Like I said with Arkham Asylum, that was the ONLY game I had in my Q, with the availability listed as Now and they didn't send it.
I'm about to PM you so I can get this info. If I can get it for $17 for three months, I'll definitely rejoi...
GameFly is good in theory, until you're actually a member and the availability for the games you want is low. Even if the availability is listed as Now, you aren't guaranteed to get the game.
I sent back Homefront, and the next game in my GameQ was Batman: Arkham Asylum. I understand a lot of people might have the same mindset as I do in that they want to play that one before playing Arkham City, but the game (Asylum) had its availability listed as Now and they didn...
I felt that there would be some kind of single player DLC for the game because when you go to Animus Island (I think that's what it's called) there are two more sets of blank pillars, which usually have the 'windows' to Desmond's flashback memories.
If it's on the disc, I'll probably wait until it goes on sale or something. It's a little different from Epic Games because Epic pushed their game back, completed at least the first pack of DLC, and...
