I don't like the Extended Cut because it's forcing me to replay through a substantial amount of gameplay, and try to make the same decisions I originally made five months ago.
I think I'll just watch the videos on youtube.
Are these all new maps or are they maps built in Forge World?
I only ask because Forge World is the main thing that killed Reach for me. I get so tired of seeing Forerunner styled maps over and over.
Even if Call of Duty would match up players within ten ranks, it would make the game a lot more balanced. I find myself not having very much fun in Call of Duty because everyone is matched against everyone. I always feel at a disadvantage because I don't put in much time with CoD MP, yet can get matched up against a 10th Prestige Level 70, while I'm still a level 10.
Anytime I go back to CoD4, I can hold my own. It's just much more balanced and no one really has a...
Infiltrator has been my favorite class since I started using it, so I can't wait to play as a Geth Infiltrator.
The first Mass Effect is my favorite by far. It has the best story out of the three, and easily the best ending, which is actually one of my favorite endings ever. Virmire to the end is just top notch.
Mass Effect 2 and 3 obviously have better graphics and game play, but the endings leave a lot to be desired.
The suicide mission in ME2 was epic, up until the cheesy boss fight.
ME3's ending was just a huge disappointing let down. I was ser...
I thought it was from the first Mass Effect if you try to proposition Ashley and Liara for a threesome.
Thanks for the spoiler. Jesus christ.
"The flare gun and flash bang grenades – previously the stars of the show – have been toned down to the point they are no longer as coveted. Unless you hit a Taken point blank with either, the worst they will do is burn away dark shields and knock them down, rather than dissolve an incoming pack."
That's pretty disappointing to read. I absolutely LOVED using the flares and flare guns. Not only did they help a great deal, it looked amazing (see attached image). ...

Dead Space 2 released to pretty good reviews (90 Metacritic on 360 and 89 Metacritic on PS3), but due to being released early in the year was forgotten, at least it seems that way.
I think Dead Space 2 might be my personal 2011 GotY. I felt that it only improved on the first one. It kept the survival horror feel to it, but also added a few action oriented set pieces.
@Why o why
Trophies come down to a number as well, whether it's how many total trophies you have, what your level is, or how many platinum trophies you have acquired.
They're the same thing.
On the Xbox dashboard, it shows you how many games in which you have full gamerscore. On xbox.com, you can sort your achievements by completion as well.
The ME3 demo is pretty well rounded. it gives you gameplay, cinematics, a little of the story, but not too much, as well as a taste of how the leveling system will work.
It made me want the game even more. A little more than three weeks away!
I had an entire collection of armor that I NEVER used because I couldn't toggle the helmet off. It looked REALLY stupid in conversations in urban environments.
I honestly don't see why ME2 wasn't patched to have helmet toggle.
That said, I'm glad helmet toggle for all armor will be in ME3. A tiny feature, but it makes a huge difference.
Can't be Mass Effect 2 because Mass Effect's ending is better, by quite a bit.
I was really into ME2's ending...until the boss fight. I mean, the first time was cool, but then after you play it a few more times, it's just kind of cheesy.
Mass Effect's ending is just all kinds of awesomeness. It never loses the awe-factor for me.
GTA V is a game, not a franchise. Also, Take Two is the publisher, not THQ.
This is even worse than the exclusive pre-order bonuses for Mass Effect 2!
I'm pre-ordering at Best Buy and GameStop to get those bonuses, and that's it.
Frank Fontaine is more the villain than Andrew Ryan, no?
Terrible article.
The beginning to Mass Effect is awesome.
The ending to Mass Effect 2 was a little weak. If the author had bothered to finish the first ME, he would have been treated to a truly epic ending.
Mass Effect's ending is amazing. The last chunk of the game, when you go to Virmire and from then on is just superb and probably my favorite ending ever.
I've kinda been itching to buy Festival of Blood, so this is the best time for me to get it.
