At my Amazon, there appeared to be hundreds of PS4 still. Wondering if those are the ones of people who chose free shipping or something.
It can be a single game.
"Dear Amazon.com Customer,
Thank you for pre-ordering a PS4 game. You have qualified for a special Buy One, Get One promotion on select PS4 titles."
Killzone 2 was the reason I got a PS3, and Killzone: Shadow Fall is the reason I pre-ordered a PS4 just after E3.
The icing on the cake was inFAMOUS: Second Son.
Microsoft's horrible reveal and horrible E3 made it a lot easier to go for the PS4 as well. I've mainly gamed on the Xbox 360, and the people that I game with are on the 360 and will be getting a One. I may get one eventually, but for now, it's all about the PS4. One week to go!
We received our first PS4s last Thursday or Friday I believe.
That's way better looking than the PS4 stock setup at the Amazon where I work.
EDIT: The GM of my Amazon said we're getting about 20,000 in.
I'm thinking the same thing since I ordered mine from Amazon as well lol.
I work at an Amazon Fulfillment Center and the GM told me we're gonna have about 20,000 of them. I went to check 'em out and it was glorious. Pallets of Playstation 4's as far as the eye could see.
Hmmm, I have the Killzone: Shadow Fall bundle pre-ordered, as well as Assassin's Crred IV: Black Flag Collector's Edition.
I think I might just get Battlefield 4, Call of Duty: Ghosts and Knack. I'll return one of them to Wal-Mart without receipt and then I may get the PS4 camera so I can mess around with playroom.
I feel that I only need one or two games with a new console since the console itself is expensive. I'm thrilled to be getting Killzone: Shadow Fall at launch with my console, and then a week or so later I'll be getting Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. Those two games should be enough until next year when Watch_Dogs and inFAMOUS: Second Son release.
Not much at all right now, but I'm sure once I see another campaign trailer, I'll really want it. Their campaign trailers always manage to suck me in lol. Even though I always end up getting CoD, I wait until I can get it for no more than $40 though, since I don't play much of the MP.
Around Christmas time, Call of Duty titles are usually $39.99 at Best Buy or Amazon. I know this because I refuse to pay full price for them and have got them the past three years for that price.
I usually play the campaign at least a couple times, and I'll put it in a little time with multiplayer, but not enough to justify spending $60 for them. For me, $40 is about the sweet spot for CoD games.
While the delay is a bit disappointing, part of me is happy that now my decision of which to play first, ACIV:BF or Watch_Dogs, is decided for me lol. Both games seem like you can put a ton of hours into each, so now I can fully focus on Black Flag.
My dilemma next year, depending on release dates, will be inFAMOUS: Second Son or Watch_Dogs. Hopefully there will be some time between the two.
Buy the PS3 or 360 version and get the $10 off, then use the upgrade to next-gen and only pay $10. Bam, even trade off.
No one said he's a role model. He's a CHARACTER, meant to entertain, which is exactly what he does. Get over yourself.
I've switched to him and he's digging food out of a trash can lmfao.
Maybe Toys R Us sold out of their allotted PS4 stock, but still have plenty Xbox Ones not pre-ordered, so they're advertising it to move what isn't already accounted for.
So it does depend on where you live. From amazon.com:

Might wanna check the sales tax part again. Amazon recently started charging it. All my pre-orders related to PS4 are adding it. Could just be where I live though.
While he's trademarking that, I'm going to trademark "Negative Nancy"
Lmfao. I was thinking the same thing.
