I can't believe how people still make it seem like Sony is twisting their arm to subscribe.
Who cares, if you don't like it, don't buy it. Considering the list of what is available for the first month has been circulating for over a week and all of the PS+ stuff is in its own section in the Store, only a moron would buy it then complain that he/she didn't realize they could choose what free games they get.
Insomniac went multi-platform because they want control over the IPs they create. I think "steal" is a moronic way to describe their situation with Sony. The reason why Ratchet and Clank are appearing in that Heroes game on the Move is because Sony owns the rights to the characters. Insomniac has no part in developing the game, but neither does Naughty Dog or Sucker Punch despite Jak & Daxter and Sly Cooper being in the game. As far as PSP development goes, I can't think ...
Really enjoy the Resistance franchise, quite frankly, it was the first time I really got into a FPS game and helped me embrace the FPS genre this generation where as in the past I kind of shunned it.
I don't mind waiting for it because 1) it will let Insomniac really polish it off, 2) maybe for once Insomniac won't get lost in the shuffle of other PS3 exclusives and big name multi-releases. Imagine if R3 got released this holiday season? There'd like be slow s...
where REAL people actually got to PLAY the Move also say "Hi".
I'm not a grammar nazi by any means but...
"Let's be honest, how many PS3 firmware updates has left us satisfied?"
IS TERRIBLE ENGLISH!
In the words of our former President, "Is our children learning?"
As far as the article itself goes, doesn't MS only update the 360 once or twice a year? Of course every 360 update is going to be huge. Sony updates 3-5 times a year so of course each update ...
if Sony implements Wireless N into the model version of the PS3 as CVG hints at? Microsoft goes back to the drawing board? MS adds a X-Box logo that you can turn to match the vertical/horizontal state the 360 is currently placed in (was a nice quirk on the original PS3) so that they can say they are offering a new "exclusive" feature to the 360?
If wireless N is on the new model of the PS3, is the 360 doomed?
"MGS4 was also the start of the departure from Tactical Espionage Action, wouldn’t be a surprise if that was for the same reason. "
What is he trying to say here? That Kojima said MSG4 wasn't about Tactical Espionage Action? Doesn't it say those three words on the box?
Or is he trying to say Kojima again said MSG4 would be his final MSG only to end up making another one soon after?
Confusing.
you know kids these days, they are probably upset by the idea of a rainbow LED light, cause you know, rainbows are for the gaze. smh.
looks sick, first pic looks like its from a super duper high def version of midgar in crisis core on steroids, HGH and a few bottles of five hour energy.
last two pics remind me of fallout 3, hopefully that's a good sign as far as exploration goes.
Last I checked, KZ3 is also in Pre-Alpha (clearly seen during their E3 demo). LAWL.
CoD has 25 million playing it for the same reason there are millions who listening to anything released by anybody from cash money records, there are stupid people out there willing to accept anything that the media says is "popular".
Clearly this man Hacker must know of something we don't. It's obvious now that Hacker has inside info that Sony will actually double cross us come next week and make us pay to play online.
DAMN YOU HACKER AND YOU INSIDER KNOWLEDGE!
Not really fair of MS to be upset about sales considering the complete lack of marketing for the game. MS could've taken a fraction of the millions they used to push third party multiplatform games like FF13 and saved it for Alan Wake.
Then again come to think of it, did Sony even do commercials in the US for Heavy Rain? I remember watching a European one on Youtube, but that's it. Weird.
Alan Wake's sales were the best thing to happen to the PS3 as far as their relationship with QD goes.
But talk about an extreme longshot. I think if you injected Sony execs with truth serum even they would admit that all they are hoping is that the PSP continues to sell at a somewhat consistent basis because I'm sure that six years into its lifecycle they have completely streamlined the process and cost of creating it and that they are pure profit at this point.
Despite 60 million + sales, the PSP seems to have this negative aura about it in the eyes of the mainstream. ...
the PSP. Sure there were many "ports" and variations of PS2/PS3 games, but the same could be said of the DS. A great deal of the best DS games were Square Enix remakes, Mario remakes etc. End of the day it was just the piracy, pure and simple.
I can't understand how Sony made a virtually hack proof PS3 (aside from the one scare) but made a PSP that seemingly anyone who has the ability to touch type can hack. Hopefully whatever happened in the two years bet...
i'd hope that something that is coming out in 2011 is technologically superior to something that was released in early 2005. Nintendo really sold me on the 3DS. Star Fox 64 3D? awesome.
i love my psp but i was hoping for a PSP2. oh well, it'd probably be tough to deal with the nintendo portable machine in early 2011 anyway. hopefully sony will have a PSP2 ready to blow us away at E3 next year while they squeeze one last year out of the current psp. Then again ther...
Not saying there aren't hardcore gamers on the Wii (I said that there are yes, hardcore games on the Wii), but there are a great deal of Wii owners who are elderly, a fact you can't deny. Seriously man, do you really think Edna and George are dying to play Monster Hunter?
isn't it supposed to be slow?
