Alexz Johnson, Canada is pumping out hot chicks like it's going out of style
Yeah, I know. But even with the tech demo using the Eyetoy, people still act like Sony jumped on the bandwagon.
Outside of the whole "Sony was developing motion control technology back in 2001 vs Sony copied the Wii" argument, I can't really think of anything Sony promised or said about Move that hasn't come to fruition.
1) The Move vs Wii argument is a flamewar debate
2) Sony promised 1:1 motion and as we've seen, they delivered
3) Sony promised a mix of hardcore/casual games, they delivered
4) Sony said the navi...
These articles are so stupid. Sony isn't twisting anyone's arm to buy PS+!
Funny, I could've sworn I just put a 640GB hard drive into my PS3!
"Hideo Kojima is not one of those developers that that blinds himself with nationalism thinking that only his country that can do gaming properly"
Clearly Kojima is not an American.
EDIT: Lol how can anyone disagree, there was a period here where every other story was an American developer saying how the Japanese don't know how to make games anymore.
"Why hasn't Sony made some games for their core audience this gen?"
UGHhhhhhhhhhhh why did I read that? I have a headache now.
Two things:
1)To everyone bragging that its more powerful than the PSP, I would hope so! There's going to be what, six to seven years between the PSP's release to the 3DS' release? That'd be like bragging that the 360/PS3 are more powerful than the XBox/PS2.
3) How can anyone think that the 3DS will be as powerful as the 360/PS3? Imagine seeing 3DS games stretched on a 50in HDTV? Seriously, how could anyone even buy into that notion?
Lol at kids running up for watermelon. So the young'ns weren't too happy to end their serious trailer with a bit of Kojima humor.
I thought Kojima made it pretty clear who was driving the ship at E3 anyway. He basically said "what's up?" and bounced. I suppose MS wanted him there to sort of vindicate the game in the eyes of fans.
On another note, anyone have any idea why MS has Kojima (attempt to) speak English at their press confere...
Its amazing how MS gets so much credit for adding a feature (wifi) that has been in the Wii and PS3 since day one. How about that sexy piano black finish on the 360? Can't recall ever seeing anything like that on a game console before.
"The update may seem too subtle and some may miss a price cut the PS3 would need so desperately to get a shot at surpassing the Xbox 360, but if we believe the current Amazon best seller list, the PS3 is actually selling very well these days."
Yes, it's a vast conspiracy by Amazon.com to rank the PS3 above the Wii and 360.
This is a great way to utilize Kinect. Clearly Kinect only games (at this point) appear to have some limitations (on-rail gameplay being the most glaring). But a Kinect+Controller combination might enhance gaming in some interesting ways.
Easy, don't buy them. If you still have PS2 games around but you have a PS3 that isn't BC, then I'm assuming you have a PS2 still sitting around somewhere. Otherwise you apparently have an extensive library of expensive drink coasters.
Mr Kay, what you've just said... is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I also like how he criticizes Sony for "copying" Nintendo with motion control, then praises Microsof...
on a related note, the BMW dealership near me sucks because they sell these state of the art vehicles. meanwhile i can get these daewoos at this used car dealership for $2500! hahahahhah BMWs suck! lawl!
yawn, hooray for you! wow you're so cool! why is everyone "disagree"-ing you? sony sucks, MS is awezome!!
doesn't need to provide "dedicated servers for a better online gaming experience" through the PS+ experience because I've never experienced lag (outside of the Smackdown vs Raw series) on PSN. Online gaming through PSN is top notch and virtually lagless provided you have a quality internet provider.
I think its great that haters think PS+ is only going to offer what it did on Day One. After all, in today's era of constant firmware and hardware updates...
Sounds like Sony has some of their swagger back, for better or worse. Considering that there is over 300 million consoles that have been sold under the PlayStation banner, its hard to argue that Sony made gaming a socially acceptable hobby to have in the eyes of the mainstream. Couple that with the fact that Sony is always at the cutting edge in terms of technology (utilizing DVDs last generation, Blu-Ray this generation) and Sony has truly helped to revolutionize this industry.
I believe NPD data is US only. MS tends to refer to US stats only when they make these statements, unless they specify otherwise.
I just bought a 640GB hard drive off newegg for $65, smh MS
