Yeah, 249.99 and it was a nightmare then, in a better economy. And that was back when it seemed like anything with the PS logo was gold. I'm hoping Sony realizes that a 199.99 pricepoint would be a megaton bomb and perhaps result in some rare goodwill in their direction from the gaming press.
I really just hope Sony doesn't go any higher than $249. Its obv not an attractive price point (people are even turning on Nintendo!) but at least its the same as the competition. I just don't see how they can justify having a handheld cost anywhere near as much as their flagship console. I realize the PS3 is gonna be five years old, and in some ways, outdated compared to the new PSP, but jeez, what a PR nightmare to have the PSP2 cost anywhere near the PS3's MSRP.
So the now MSG 1/2/3 will have trophies before 4. what a world lol.
Perhaps their hoping to persuade him to never get around to looking at a 360.
I would hope that they would outsell the Move based on the fact that MS invested 500 million in advertising compared to the Moves' marketing budget which appears to have consisted of whatever Kaz and Jack had in their pockets at the moment. How much does a coupon to SuperCuts, some lint, a paper clip, a few singles, a couple of yen, an autographed Kevin Butler wallet sized picture and a pen get you in the advertising world?
The 360 is unstoppable, I just don't see how Sony or Nintendo will ever overcome the runaway train that is MS.
Don't see what the issue is, Gears and Halo have done a fine job of carrying the 360 so far. Add in the kiddies and adults with Kinect and MS will do fine.
"The Forza series has been Microsoft's answer to the Gran Turismo franchise, and may potentially bring race fans to Microsoft's side after the disappointment surrounding Gran Turismo 5."
- the sales of GT5 say otherwise
lol, IGN, "The sheer amount of variety can be overwhelming and suffocating to the point where it becomes unenjoyable."
who wants to bet something along those lines will be part of the review.
leading the league in yards thrown, being third in tds thrown and nearly carrying his team (that had guys like blair white, jacob tamme and javarris james playing critical roles at long stretches of the season) to the playoffs helps his case. If you're referring to his un-Peyton like 17 interceptions, Drew Brees has 21.
I would have to agree with those who realize they're talking about releasing a video preview, not a demo. After the harsh treatment that GT5 received, I would think Sony/ND would be smart enough to realize that releasing a demo for a game that is nearly a year away from being released would result in a lot of negative publicity from the media who would treat the demo as a "final build" and criticize the demo for its various faults and bugs.

Get ready to hear the word "definitive" a lot at E3 2011 during the MS conference.
this will never be allowed near the main page haha
edit: i post and now its there hahah
Probably the Kevin Butler effect on Twitter

A quick look at the user account reveals that you've done nothing but bash the PS3 since your first day at N4G, and that you even said you sold your PS3 almost three years ago.
hahahahaha
ive sold my ps3 due to the lack of games and poor ports. The 360 for multi-formats...
Went there the second day it was open (missed the raffles/festivities of day one), but I thought it was a pretty sweet setup. Unfortunately, it was pretty empty (granted I was there about an hour before closing), but really MS and Sony have no chance to draw the crowds that Apple stores do. I was just happy to get a chance to try out some games like GT5, KZ3 and The Fight/
Things like this are the reasons that GT5 is one of, if not the WORST game of the current generation. LMAO Polyphany, five years of delay after delay? Remember when we were promised GT5 as a launch title? Then it was pushed to spring 2007, then summer 2007. Then Christmas 2008! We all know the rest of the story. Gran Turismo 5: The Real Delay Simulator LAWLZ! If Polyphany can't get their act together and finally give us photo-realistic dogs standing, they might as well close up shop...
Hahah, wooooooooooooooo
I'm sure a $60 purchase is pennies to Pach. I'm fortunate enough to have never bought into the CoD hype, but I have friends who have their horror stories with the PS3 version. Times are too tough to drop 60 bucks on a faulty, broken product. As people are always eager to point out, N4G doesn't equal the world. Not everyone scours the internet for reviews. They only see commercials and the hype in advertisements. Then they buy a broken product. Not cool.
