New 3DS was hardly an upgrade. Other than the C tit above the ABXY buttons the difference was negligible. Why upgrade? Nintendo is precariously pushing their luck with releasing so many handhelds in such a short time.
They kept Wolfenstein iconic, thought they would do the same for another legend.

Lots of consumers are going to be trigger-shy after Wii U's confusing launch (is it a console, or an add-on to the Wii?)
Nintendo needs to start banging the PR drum soon and hit it hard. If they have a clever and transparent launch, they will be wildly successful. Im sure Im not the only gamer that felt like the Wii U was Nintendo being cheap.
And thats IF its a console. If its another handheld, it would be another massive blunder by Nintendo of late. ...
I just cant justify paying $80CDN for a game with a 12 hour campaign. Naturally Im going to wait for a Steam Sale. Then you have broken games like Batman:AK being released and not fixed or patched for months. I think all Gamers should sit on their wallets when games release and hopefully we will start getting finished games that are worthy of the exorbitant prices on release.
What industry? Everyone from NASA to Stephen Speilburg has sunk massive money into VR. You have ESPN, Disney, BBC, all spending millions on VR content.

Too Bad. The Zelda VR Beta was pretty damn interesting. Cant believe I actually walked around Hyrule.
Hopefully they take the time and QAQC the games the same way they do the headsets. I think motion sickness will force developers to put out the best game possible lest it come back to bite them. The penalty of having a poorly developed game won't be just frame rate drops and pop ins, but making people sick to their stomach.
Im burnt out on lego games. Im ready for a real game without lego license. It seems to be a lazy trend.

This gen of console was a half step up. Resolutions and FPS are still all over the place, Microtransactions are killing great IPs, and exclusives are getting fewer and fewer. In fact, more and more are coming to PC, thereby not making them exclusive at all.

The Winter Sale on Steam was probably a nice boost to GTAV sales. Once it dropped to 40% I just couldnt help myself.

Looks like almost 50% of VR devs are working on PC. Mobile and PSVR devs share the rest.
