Jet Force Gemini was a lesser known gem for N64. One of my favorite games of all time. Now all but forgotten.

I imagine the Vive will eventually be on the shelf? Its already into October and still no release date, preorders, or price. Valve/HTC better have a good strategy in place.

For how many Resident Evil games there are, its almost criminal there hasnt been a new Dino Crisis.

Gaming, Weed, and Munchies. It's the holy trinity of any great session.

This will be the cautionary tale that all other kickstarters are judged by if this does indeed tank.

I hope it does release successfully and with a reasonable price and rescaled microtransactions. ($400 for an in game ship is ridiculous!)

The gamepad is quite large. We have become accustomed to controllers being roughly 6" across. The Wii u gamepad has got to be pushing 12" or so. It's an awkward size disparity.
I don't doubt that the gamepad can be useful for inventory or commands on the screen, but will you really notice 60fps on such a small screen? I Haven't noticed lagging so far.

the gamepad brings lots of potential, but Nintendo is making it a focal point, when it could ...

I would be happy if they ditched the gamepad altogether. I dont know what resources that pad takes up, but I never ever use it. The Wii Pro Controller is criminally underestimated. That gamepad though, not so much.
I game on a 106" Screen, so I have zero interest in looking down to see what the 6" gamepad screen displays.

I didn't shed any tears, but the Battle of Endor demo was something special. It was the perfect combo of video game and immersion. From that moment on there was only Before VR, and VR in my life.

5% off? Whoop de friggen do. Cdkeys.com knocks $20 off the price right off the bat.

Most VR experiences will be built for PCs though. Bet your ass they will be optimized.

Microsoft put all their eggs in the Kinect basket, then never supported it. Now they are scrambling with AR, but are woefully behind a launch date. So now MS is hoping VR fails? This Makes them sound like a Tit.

Season Pass is dirt cheap on Steam. Recommend you pick it up.

Make it worth it if you bring it to PC. We dont need anymore bad ports.

Once you try it, you wont be able to deny how incredible VR is.
Mario 64 was the first to introduce 3d gaming and people went nuts for it. I expect the similar situation once people can get out there and try VR for themselves.

3rd person games work incredibly. Lucky's Tale is a great example. This will change the way 3rd person games are played. No longer will you have to guess where your player will land when they jump. You will be as precise as picking up a pen off your desk.

Cutscenes would have more 3d depth than any Tv on the market.

UI wont be an issue for games developed for VR. Ive already seen some very clever overlays on certain VR games and demos.

Nvidia Shield Portable for me all the way. I love the selection of Android games. Its almost a renaissance for older 90's Pc games in the Android Marketplace.

Plus all the emulators and Roms..... Playing Portable has never been so good!
