I felt it was a great Civ game for console. I don't know how you could do Civ 4 or 5 on a console, so this was a great way to garner new fans of the series. I think a lot would be lost in translation if you tried to make a straight PC port.
Yikes. AMD is in rough shape. That's crazy they lost $197 mil last quarter. I hope they are able to turn things around, even at Nvidias cost. I've never owned a Team Red card, but competition is the only chance of keeping nvidia sane.
Hey man, it was Batman, alright? I couldnt help myself.
I know Valve gets slammed for poor customer service and lack of game production, but dammit if they dont keep winning me over with their attitude towards gamers.
I hear ya there. I bought a cheap $300 laptop from walmart to gamestream to my Upstairs TV. Now if the Steam link could do Android or Apps so I can watch Netflix and Popcorn Time, then we have a winner right here.
Well I'm glad I held off on the preorder. I was really excited for the button-mapping, but Controller Companion seems to do a damn fine job already.
Maybe I'll wait till November when I can try it myself.
This is Red 5, coming in for a closer look.
I care. I care a lot, actually. As an avid gamer and huge Star Wars fan I couldnt be more vested in their games. But with Battlefront having no SP campaign has completely turned me off of this one.
Im hoping 1313 comes to light sooner than later. I just hope that the new movies will evoke a renaissance of Star Wars games like Rogue Squadron, KOTOR, and Bounty Hunter.
A half decent laptop would easily run a PS2 emulator if you want to keep your library alive.
Good Lord this is incredible!! This is just the beginning. I cant wait to see what happens to VR multiplayer in the next few years.
Myself, Bro-in-Law, and Best friend are all upgrading our PC's in some fashion for VR. All Im waiting on is whether I SLI for the HMD or just go with a powerful single card GPU.
Looking at the Oculus/Vive reddit though, there are about 50 people a day asking what to upgrade their rigs to for VR. I am shocked that so few people took to the survey.
Nice build. Too bad the OS pushes the price up. Im hoping that SteamOS will be a contender when it drops November 10th.
Yes. 3ds games have a dual image overlap that is adjusted with your slider. This makes it much harder than simply trying to sync 2 screens as in the DS or WiiU.
I've never played a Fallout game, but your passionate blog definitely enticed me to. I have Wasteland 2 on my wish list as of now.
Super Mario 3D World - used -was $54.99CAD at Best Buy. I understand the games hold their value, but thats not really a factor to me. I dont buy games with the intent on making money off of them. I would buy 2 or 3 cheap games, rather than one expensive one that will hold its value for a few years.
Nintendo still a problem with the prices of the games themselves though. Super Mario 3D World is still $65CAD and that game is going to be 3 years old in a month.
Its one thing to get the console for cheap, but the pricing on some games is still ludicrous. Super Mario Bros 3 is $5 on Eshop!! That game is over 20 years old!!!
I love Nintendo and have for years, but I mean, they are getting trounced on this Gen and they still arent willing to bend. This just aggravat...
Akuma or GTFO.
Not really besides the point. 4K Console gaming is a ways away, so it doesnt excite me. VR is on the horizon and has a much better chance of hitting its stride before 4K console gaming takes off.
How are you going to use physical media on your Iphone/AppleTV?
Email registration won't kick in till December. It said that in the article too.
